Today I’m going to show you how to make this delicious one skillet chicken and Parmesan rice meal let’s start with our onion cut off your ends we’re going to cut off that outer layer we’re going to cut the onion in half lay it down we’re going to slice through the onion
Lengthwise two times then we’re going to slice through the onion just follow the lines run your knife through all right we’ll do the same with the other half now this is just a medium yellow onion all right let’s start cooking these up we’re going to be using a very large
Deep Skillet with a lid just hang on to your lid we’re going to place place our Skillet over medium high heat we’re going to add 4 tablespoons of butter we’re going to allow this to melt and come to a Sizzle we’ve got a nice Sizzle going on
We’re going to add our onion oo that sounded good you know this is going to be delicious we’re going to cook these down for about four to 5 minutes until they get nice and soft and have a little color to them all right let’s cut up some chicken I’m
Going to put some gloves on I’m using 1 and 1 12 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast what we’re going to do is slice it in half lengthwise just hold your chicken at the top drag your knife through and we’ll do this one we’re going to cut
Strips right now we’re going to dice them bite-size pieces let’s grabb some seasonings salt pepper garlic powder talian seasoning need some onion powder some great flavor and color smoked paprika all right 1/4 teaspoon of each going right across the chicken with the salt pepper garlic powder onion powder Italian
Seasoning shake this one good and paprika this is smoked paprika take some tongs mix this all together to coat the chicken we’re going to add our chicken to our onion all right we’re going to put it in a single layer the seasonings on the chicken really going to flavor this
Dish all right we’re going to let it sit there for about 1 to 2 minutes and then start flipping it over cooking the chicken until it’s nice and golden brown on all sides all right we’re going to start turning the chicken over while we’re finishing up the chicken let’s mash up two garlic
Cloves now I’ve pulled these off of my bulb of garlic I’m just going to put my knife blade side on the garlic clove mash it down and take the outer skin off all right you can mince it on your board or you can just take your garlic
Press we’ll put that into the chicken all right when the chicken has about one more minute left on it we’re going to go ahead and squeeze our garlic in or add your garlic about two tpoon all right we’re going to mix this in for 1 minute all right the chicken is browned
On all sides and almost cooked through we’re going to add some broth to It 2 and 1/2 cups of chicken broth all right let’s add that now we’re going to place the heat on a high so we can bring this to a boil okay we have a boil we’re going to go
Ahead and add one cup of white uncooked long grain rice I’m using a half cup measuring tool here all right let’s get that all stirred in okay I’ve lowered the heat to a low setting we’re going to place a lid on we’re going to cook this for 15 to 20
Minutes do not remove the lid before then all right or that Rice stops cooking and then you got to start it all over again so I’ll be back we’re going to finish this off we still got a few more ingredients to make this yummy let’s take the lid off it’s been 20
Minutes oo look at that oh this looks delicious y’all make sure you check your rice I know mine is done I’ve already tasted it it’s delicious turn off your heat now if your rice is still a little Crunchy just put your lid back on and
Cook it for a few extra minutes okay cuz you don’t want crunchy rice all right let’s finish this up I’ve got a wedge of some Parmesan cheese there we go we’re going to go in with about a/4 cup you don’t have to shred your own you don’t have to stop at
1/4 cup put in what you want I love when I can make it snow on my dish all right that looks good there we’re going to add in and half a cup of some heavy whipping cream we’re going to add in some parsley flakes good few tablespoons give it some color
Bam we’re going to stir this very carefully together it’s going to give you a creamy res zodo feel to the dish look at that all right I’m just going to put in a little bit more cheese on top I have a beagle underfit under feet all right little more garnish there
We go what do y’all think let’s give that a try oh let’s serve this up yum woo let me get a fork give that a try for you that is fabulous it’s so delicious those flavors make sure you flavor that chicken well well cuz that’s where your flavors are coming from in

That looks amazing had to share.
Looks good. I think I'd add a package of chopped spinach instead of the parsley, and serve it with some halved cherry tomatoes on top, because colorful food is always more appealing IMHO. π
