These were BOGO so I decided against Mateo’s. Horrible decision. The flavor was awful.

Should have gotten a salsa from New York City instead lol.

I strictly disagree, as it just tasted like a normal good salsa, just quite a bit hotter.

There are sooo many various variation on products. Yall should do what I do… get some peppers and dehydrate them and then freeze them. Need something chipolte, got it. Ghost pepper, got a lifetimes supply for a large group of people, jalapenos, thai bird.. a jar of indian extra spicy red pepper. When you deal with the actual fruit you realise quickly a jar of habanero sauce literally contains.. one pepper and other stuff.

There’s just a few brands where it makes sense to buy the products.
Mateos is pretty good. And its odd that this particular brand would taste bad. Ghost peppers have this weird delightfully citrus odor.

What in the white middle America is this?

Pace is essentially chunky tomato sauce with spices. Avoid at all costs.

Growing up in Texas I was raised on this stuff and I can spot it a mile away if it’s on a party platter or spread at a party.

This is the only hot salsa I can get by me 😔 it’s grown on me

I can’t stand this type of watery salsa anymore. Only thing I can manage without gagging is Pico de gallo lol
