October is Italian American heritage month and today we are celebrating by making mozzarella I feel like you have to like dance he that music you’ll know these mozzarella makers from their fun videos on social media please welcome Anthony agustino and jako consulo morning guys thank you morning starts up
First with how do you say mozzarella there’s a lot of debate about this oh there’s different there’s the Italian way and then there’s the New York way of saying it New Yorkers take the a off the end so it’s just mozzarel but the correct way of saying it is mozzarella
Yes and you got to do the hand too with it that that’s in the pronunciation okay so what are we doing let’s get to it so we’re going to be making some fresh mozzarella for you guys today and this is what we do at our house party so we do fresh mozzarella
House parties where we bring this Italian Heritage experience to your house and we come and we make some fresh Madel with you and all of your guests family and friends and it’s a nice experience for the home looks like a lot of fun we see you guys in the video here
Yes so that was at the San Jano Feast we had our stand oh very cool okay so what’s the first step let’s walk us through this okay so we’re going to add some boiling hot water okay it’s a big old pot yep nice hot of our water right
And we add it to our curd okay and now this is just the start of it and what we start to do is we start mixing it together and you can start seeing all of that curd the mozzarella curd start to cook and is that to break it up or so no
This is actually cooking it right now oh it’s cooking so now after we work this for a little bit if you guys want to step over here Anthony has our finished product right so after jakamo show you he added the boiling water to the curred
He s started to season it a little bit we do add sea salt to it and then what happens here is as that water sits in there we’re ready to do our Infamous what we call out was stretch let’s see the stretch slowly lift right in slow motion Baby Motion profal stretcher all
Right so we’re going to get the stretch and it’s a lot of fun so at the house parties we do the stretch we let people get inside we take actually fun pictures Jo and we’ll step on over we’ll do one of our uh party themes we do M you guys

Good one about this is it has our Mike’s hot honey drizzled on top of it so it’s got a little spiciness with a little sweetness from the honey and saltiness mixed into the mozella that does have a k um this is our bero andarella that’s got the protein in it
In you finally got the meat you were waiting for the meat we got the meat in there the little drizzle basam really good thank you and this is our fresh cup pre say very nice Garden salad fresh tomatoes fresh basil olive oil sea salt and of course I would just made fresh
