It couldn’t get any simpler, but we don’t do much fancy with our veggies, usually keeping it super simple.

Brown sugar, butter and sliced carrots

Yes, you can boil and cut you own carrots. Canned or frozen are an easy alternative.

  1. beth its just better for you. I think its tastier also. I hope you enjoy it when you try them this way 🙂 try the same method when you make sweet potato mash also its heavenly but add a little cream to them LOL

  2. i don't love sweet veggies, so carrots aren't my thing unless they are in chicken soup and coleslaw. but i like your videos… preferably times three. 🙂

  3. Thank you for making a side dish! I have never had these nor have I ever thought to do this with carrots. I will be trying this tomorrow night for supper now. Thanks again.

  4. Ya know, I don't remember ever having carrots as a side dish growing up. They were only cooked when they were in a soup or something like that. I don't think I've ever cooked them myself. I'll have to give this a try. Thanks!

  5. Thank you for your simplicity in preparing these carrots! I didn't want to add any seasoning and or dressing to mine e.e

I wanted to keep it as simple as possible!

  6. Glazed canned carrots…. That's what this should be called! USE FRESH CARROTS,
plus it is cheaper and the taste is what seperates true chefs

  7. This looks amazing! My sis brought me some fried rice & sweet carrots from an Asian restaurant the other day and I had never had sweet carrots before but they were great so I want to make some….I absolutely love brown sugar so I bet these are amazing! Gonna give this a shot!!

  8. I made these for the first time on Thanksgiving last year, with baby carrots. Only, I also added some Cinnamon and a bit of vanilla. They were a huge hit so I will be making them again this year.
