Picked these up tonight after dinner for night cap options.
The port isn’t anything crazy as I’ve had their 20, 30, and 40 yr offerings before and just wanted a decent port to finish the night.
I saw these Sauternes while picking up the port and was curious if anyone else had experienced these or had any advice on pairings or how long they stay good for after opening.
Thanks in advance!

The French wines are going to have a lot of zippy acidity. I would pair bbq pork belly burnt ends with the Sauternes or barsac.
Bleu cheese and Sauternes is amazing!
Enjoy. They typically last several days after opening, just not as long as fortified wines like the Port. For me, a slight chill is preferable to serving refrigerator-cold. Straight from the cellar at 56 degrees seems to raise bouquet and flavors. Curious whether anyone has experimented with air times?
I’ve tried the SB from Suduiraut and loved it, so I imagine their Sauternes is just as vibrant. We often serve ours through a coravin to maintain integrity at about 8 Celsius. Enjoy on its own with along something rich.
It may not fit every occasion, every taste, or every cuisine at any particular time, but Sauternes may well be the most magnificent wine God ever allowed mankind to create.
Suderaut is a solid choice. 2015 is still pretty young, but will still be a treat with a big hunk of Bleu.
I’m literally drinking the 2019 coutet right now. Beautiful sauternes for the price. Young but delicious.
Please post notes after tasting! I have both Suduiraut and Coutet in my cellar and I would love to hear your thoughts!
