Starting with a gold base (Americolor’s gold and taupe) and using Faye Cahill Cake Design’s edible luster dust (in signature gold). Sprayed on with a manual airbrush and vodka. Dries a little more matte than some luster dusts.

Beautiful. I am ver intrigued and curious…
Have you ever eaten a slice that saturated? What does it taste like?

I remember your last gorgeous gold cake! I agree, this color is more of a pure gold. For some reason, I feel like the first gold dust looked more “expensive.”

I can see the reflection of the border on top. Your icing is *reflective*. It was already gorgeous and you put a mirror on top. Fricking fabulous!

I got the shade name wrong! It’s the Faye Cahill luster dust in *regency gold*. I’ll try signature gold next time 😌

I legitimately had to go back through your posts to make sure you hadn’t just reposted the other gold cake. All your cakes are so precise and perfect that the heart ones look like the same cake just painted different colors.
