This is an old video.. you will hear my beautiful little Tiny “talking” to me. I miss her so much.
This is a delicious bread. I suppose it sits overnight so all the flavors get to mingle together :))
Ingredients
1-1/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/3 cup cooking oil
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup of the sugar, the nuts, and cinnamon; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the remaining 1 cup sugar, the flour, baking powder, and salt. In a medium bowl, beat egg with a fork; stir in milk and oil. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened (batter should be lumpy).
2. Pour half of the batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon mixture. Repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon mixture. Draw a wide rubber scraper down through batter and up in a circular motion to marble. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
3. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. Wrap and store bread overnight before slicing.
4. Makes 1 loaf (14 servings)

Hi again Beth…
WOW ~~ does this look good…how did it taste…
Only why do you need to wait overnight to eat it…it probably is sooooooooooo yummy right out of the oven…
Thank you so much for sharing…
Have a fun summer day…

@CookingAndCrafting I will! π
i made this today and it was amazing.the only problem i had was that i was stuck to the pan and the time wasnt nearly enough and so by the time it was done it was burned on the bottom
i made this last night & it was so yummy !! I ran out of milk so i used vanilla soy milk and only 1 cup of sugar. oh, & raisins ! i didn't get the pretty swirly effect like yours but it was sooo good. (didn't even taste like soy hehe)
4.20 lol crap x
Made this today. My family couldn't wait for tomorrow. It was yummy!!! I used brown sugar instead of white in the topping mixture, and I added a bit of chocolate chips, it was AWESOME!!!
@CookingAndCrafting
I did it two days ago but i did not add any nuts but it was delicious though
Tried this today! Followed your recipe exactly, but used round wider tin as i didnt have a loaf/bread tin! It ended up cooking for 1hr 30mins and it was still not done inside, so i took it out cos it was getting burnt on top!
Is the problem likely to be my oven? or the dish i used? It doesnt look or taste right π
Thanks for the recipes!
@CookingAndCrafting Thanks for the reply! I think i'll be getting a loaf tin then! π
wow that looks delicious! may i ask the website where you got the recipe?
wow-love the end with the "serving suggestion"! what a way to tempt people!
ah-i love the rain…..cleanses my soul!
Do I need a loaf pan to make this or could I use a 9 inch round cake pan? π
You wrote 11/3 cups sugar in the description when you used 1/3 cup in the video
I tried this and it didn't look as nearly as good as yours but still good!
HK sent me!!!
I love you do the pop in "Hey Kids" it just cracks me up. i love your videos and I'm keeping a running tally of everything I want to make!!!!
Can you use butter instead of Pam to grease the loaf pan?
whaaat no review again??
I tried doing this and it didn't come out right π
I made this-way yummy. The family gobbled it up already. Making a double batch sunday for the week. I used raisins, walnut and cinnamon. Thanks Cooking and Crafting lady. Will check out more of your recipes.
I would argue with my mom to call this a cake and not a bread XD But seriously this looks SOO good. So going to make this tomorrow π
Looks delicious.
are the nuts optional?
I have been in a quick bread mood lately. Β Going back and making some of your best! Β
Lol OMG so I was so excited to bake this bread last night that I forgot to add the oil haha regardless of no oil this bread is delicious. The only thing that not having the oil is the texture of the bread, it feels like a french baguette, Β I am in love with this recipe. I will be baking it again tonight lol AND I will not forget the oil this time hehe π Thank you for sharing <3
Made this last night and just got around to tasting it and ot was delicious thank you so much.
Hi, when you wrap it over night do you leave it on the counter or do you refrigerate it?
Hi, can't wait to make this bread. Where did you get that great loaf pan?
Mine is in the oven as we speak, this was a very simple recipe to follow and I LOVE simple and anything homemade!!!
Thank you!!!!
OMG!!!!!!!! This looks amazing! I can't wait to try it! BTW, I think it was a good thing you used more than half on the bottom, as the top part was pure cinnamon, pecan swirl. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!! New subscriber, here. ;D Thanks for this awesome recipe! π
This recipe is outdated or not correct. Look up other Apple Cinnamon (White) Bread recipes. Use brown sugar instead of white sugar for the swirl.
