Welcome to our review of everything that is new to eat and drink at the 2024 Epcot International Festival of the Arts now um the reason usually when we do these reviews we’re just in the park and we just film everything in the park um but I wanted to take a moment because
This is a pivotal moment for us and I have to give a bit of a disclaimer um because of that because we of course want to continue to be honest with you guys as to what’s happening now you may or may not have heard that Disney
Actually invited us as media to come to the event we were part of their media event um which has not H happened in a very long time so very quick Short History um we were generally invited to to a number of Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort media events from um I
Want to say like 2009 to 2012 or 13 uh and then we did our own thing for many years and then they brought us back on the list for a very short period in um 2017 which was was in the midst of a certain other regime and things happened
And I’m not going to revisit all of that cuz it’s very much in the past um and this year we are all about turning the page and moving forward and clearly um everyone at the Walt Disney Company feels the same because they extended an olive branch to me um back in December
And um that is something I have been hoping for for a very very long time now this is not because like I really want to be on the media list and I want free things and want to have Early Access to stuff and blah blah blah well the Early
Access thing is true right obviously that is a tremendous benefit to you the audience and it’s a tremendous benefit to us as a business right um if we get to preview attractions or events or things like that having it you know early it’s a great benefit I can’t can’t
Argue that and it’s the greatest benefit to you the audience because I can bring you the coverage um you know before you even get there right so there is a great benefit there but otherwise like this is not uh the reason this is important to me is is because things with the Disney
Company during the previous regime were so tumultuous and it was a very unhappy time in my life I’ve spent the last several years um fighting depression and a lot of things and then there a big part of it was was that um you know that tension right um and certainly the last
Several months and years things have come down exponentially which has been great um but it’s kind of been this lingering thing where it it’s you know I want to uh you know I want to tie a bow on that part of my life I want to move
On from it and we’ve reached that moment now so I I have to thank everyone um in the Disney PR department everyone on um that side of the business who made this happen I really appreciate that the Olive Branch really meant the world to me um and the fact that everyone um you
Know in the course of hosting us today um and and things that are other things that are happening that we’ll talk about down the road um everyone’s been so courteous and great and helpful and um it’s so refreshing and nice and I it really is and I think um I will tell you
This honestly in my conversations with people at Disney I think they are as excited as I am to work together and it’s it’s great I think everybody you know I think I think they’re they’re everybody feels like we’re resolving something that should have been resolved a long time ago and that’s a nice
Feeling so the disclaimer I have to give you is that we were hosted by Disney um and in the process of being hosted they gave us a media gift um obviously the figment you saw the figment fig Clair plush earlier this week but the more important gift we have to talk about is
They granted us a $100 gift card um which we could use towards food and beverage at the festival and we did obviously the full cost of everything new at the epot International Festival of the Arts is more than $100 but I do have to disclose that to you now the
Other thing I want to tell you here is because I’ve seen some of the like look it’s the internet and people you know so many of you have been supportive and wonderful and I love you guys and I really appreciate it and the reason any of this is happening is because of you
You you have been incredibly supportive over all these years those numbers you guys put up for news today for this program three times a week are such a big part of because because you know that the world knows that people come here for Disney Park’s news and that
People hear um the opinions I put out here and and I listen to what you guys are are saying in the comments and we voice that here and this is a very important forum for the industry right and then this is is validation of that and validation of of the stock that you
All have put into news today and these these programs we do I’m sorry if I talked about this like this was news today we’re filming these things back toback and I probably am old and confused but nonetheless um you know so so I I have to thank Disney again um for
Hosting us I want to give you that disclaimer before we get into this and the thing I want to promise you is that we are not changing things here at wwn NT will not change um yes we will be granted media access but we will continue to be honest and the people at
Disney have assured me that is perfectly fine um which is all I needed to hear um to to want to work with them um this this is both sides are very uh Earnest and and excited about this opportunity and it’s a great thing and the fact that
All that matters to me is that we continue to be honest with you and that understanding is that look we all love Disney World we all love these parks and we’re all going to continue to go to them um you know and and being honest is not
Going to make anyone not go to a Disney park it’s just going to make people do different things when they’re at a Disney park if I tell you an item at the Epcot International FES the Arts isn’t uh my favorite I will gladly tell you one you should get instead so um with
All that understood I want you guys to understand that again um moving forward like nothing has changed other the fact that we have a uh positive and healthy relationship with the Walt Disney Company which is is a wonderful wonderful thing in my book but I don’t
Want you guys to worry that things are going to be different the honest reviews will continue to be the honest reviews and we will continue to help you uh navigate your way through a Disney Vacation um or if you’re local um your visit so uh thank you guys for your time

And of course um if you want to read reviews of every single item whether it’s new or returning they’re all available at ww W nt.com something I need to talk about at the start here is that uh today is a meaningful day for wwt because we are back on the approved
Disney Parks media list which means today we were invited uh to the media event so uh typically sometimes you’d have well legally you would have to say you’re hosted um when you attend these media events so what we have done is um while we’ve been invited we’re not
Actually using any of the benefits right so they granted Park Mission we used our own annual passes they gave us a gift card we are not using the gift card for these food reviews so um you know we’re avoiding any uh moral ambiguity uh in
This process so um but of course it’s a big moment for us because it’s if any of you have been following us for many years you know that things uh at times were tumultuous um with other Management in the company and um it means the world
To us that Disney has reached out and extended an olive branch and welcomed us back in in and we’re very excited to work together but I want to assure you that through all of that um obviously our reviews will remain honest we’re under no obligation to say we love
Everything um Disney has even assured us that that’s not the case so um just want to let you guys know that up front I want to be honest with you and tell you what’s going on but again we didn’t use the admission we didn’t use the gift
Card or anything so um we will while we’re invited to me events to cover things when Disney has given us an advantage we will let you know and when we’re not utilizing the vage will let you know as well so we will try with cruises room tours food things like that
Um we will try to use our own funds uh to bring that to you in for the sake of uh you know uh media ethics okay so we’re starting with our first item we’re here at the Odyssey which is sorry I never remember the names of these things figments inspiration station at the
Odyssey um which of course has a number of items but uh new this year is a blueberry filled pastry tart there it is a blueberry filed pastry tart with purple icing figment uh being purple of course so it’s sugar cookie with blueberry filling um and it has it has a
Little fork and paintbrush next to it I need to know what that means wonderful walk of colorful Cuisine that’s what it means I didn’t even get my sticker I didn’t know ludic von Drake is very sad now I had no idea um usually with this event everything comes out really pretty
That’s like the gimmick of Festival the Arts the food prep um this first day not Pop-Tart came out a little it’s a little wonky looking um but hopefully it tastes good oh it’s heavy this a heavy Boy oh it’s so soft so they’ve had these before is this actually newer which or this with a sticker I don’t even know but either way man if this was served too hot would be killer so the sugar cookie dough is soft so it’s real doughy but it’s that’s
Really great and then the the the filling is very you know it’s that artificial kind of like neutr grain barish type filling um but it’s good is this a thing you need to come eat at the festival if you want a sticker for your wonderful walk of colorful Cuisine you do but
Otherwise there’s nothing there’s nothing super special about it right so I don’t know um the kids might like it if the kids want something sweet um that’s not going to challenge their palet um or if my dad’s coming we’ll serve him this but yeah that’s that’s my thoughts on the pop T
All right so quick already a correction because I do no homework cuz I’m an idiot um we did the thing we just did is not new the Pop-Tart is returning so there are several things we’re getting because they’re part of the colorful walk or the wonderful walk of colorful
Cuisine because we want to redeem and see what you get um that was one of those things so it’s fitting because I think there’s only 20s something new items anyway so this is going to be pretty short for a festival review for us so you guys do get a a handful of
Repeats from the wonderful walk stuff um one thing I want to talk about which isn’t I mean it is food there’s food in it it’s this guy we have the bucket and I think for me even though I own a number of Tokyo Disney buckets this is
My favorite popcorn bucket of all time um it’s amazing the the detail is fantastic I love the weird it’s kind of 80s is the like uh holographic sticker down in there it’s a little 80s toyish for sure uh this also lights up I don’t know you’re going to see it out
Here if I did it but I’m going to leave whoever this is I’m going to leave it oh no you pulled your tab anyway you can see the lights are on I didn’t want to ruin it by pulling someone’s tab it immediately kills the resale value and
God knows we’re all reselling this it’s a joke joke these are the jokes people cool strap figments diving in to the popcorn I guess if you decide to desecrate your bucket by having the popcorn actually in it which is somewhat sacriligious but uh nonetheless this is fantastic kudos to everyone involved in
This um they were actually telling us uh imagine your Jason Grant helped design this along with some of the festival managers they did a tremendous job Jason also uh worked on the little gold the figment Little Golden book um so Jason Grant is is my boy when it comes to
Figment stuff thank you Courtney for letting us borrow your bucket CU dad took all ours to the car and we forgot to film them okay um I just waited 30 minutes for a drink because it’s the morning and people want joffre um but I got the festival offering we’re here on the
Prominade um this one’s called I guess they call this location near Disney Traders i’ call it World Showcase prominade the brushstroke berry Bliss is a vibrant combination of frozen lemon minute made lemonade raspberry syrup and iced tea garnished with lemon um so we got it with the added Grey Goose vodka because alcohol
So uh let’s give it a try it’s a perfect day for a frozen drink it’s beautiful out and very warm that is really nice and refreshing um it’s got that sticky sweetness from the lemonade for sure um yeah I’m getting the raspberry like a artificial raspberry and definitely on
The back end you’re going to taste that iced tea you’re going to you’ll get like a raspberry iced tea flavor on the back end Can I taste the vodka I I mean you get a double if you want to taste the vodka but I’m sure it’s in here I
Watched him put it in and it’s not a bad serving size this is when it gets warmer as you know it does in the festival that takes place from January to February uh it will be it will be hot at some point um this is uh Frozen and nice and
Refreshing and um I think a good thing to get if you like lemonade or raspberry um refreshing cocktails I think this is a good option oh the weather’s beautiful so Eric has joined me because he loves to come out especially when the weather’s bad nothing can keep me away
From a first day of a festival time my favorite thing that we do this cheese that’s Harding on this dish can this keep you away it also smells bad so we’re from uh we got food from the Craftsman’s Courtyard just behind us a bit um Cuisine constructed with the
Natural Aesthetics of the Arts and Crafts movement okay um so we have the grilled pork belly and the grilled marinated skirt St is that what this is yep yeah okay that’s the pork belly with the cheese this is the pork I can’t tell cuz I can’t find the impenetrable Dome ofe
Under there uh with salsa verde broccoli Rob pickled peppers and ret cheese on grilled sour dough pickled peppers goad since you’ve just joined us you missed the you missed the poptart I ate which was an old item why did you eat an old item because it’s on the wonderful walk
Of colorful Cuisine also we don’t have a lot to review so isn’t most of the food at a festival kind of old see the medial list hasn’t changed us at all Welcome to our first and last media event everybody that’s pork belly it’s a real big serving for the for a
Festival I will say I it’s pork but it’s not what I think of when I think of a pork belly this cheese is rough right is this like a Reet type of yeah the Reet is always rough when you have to wait a couple minutes I think the pork is good
Yeah flavor is not bad all in all considering the condition that we received this in I think it’s pretty good I think for the price and the size you can share this with a couple people it’s got a lot of really interesting stuff going on Flavor wise too
Um yeah that the the broccoli R the salsa verie The Pickle pepper all that’s combining for a real Pleasant flavor over a nicely cooked piece of pork and a ni sizable one too and the bread actually that sourdough flavor uh with it it’s pretty perfect it’s basically a
Big uh pork open open face pork sandle yeah there’s there’s an awful lot going on yeah find a part of of what’s going on that you like and have even in the rain two thumbs up all right now we have the uh grilled marinated skirt steak with caramelized onions and mushrooms
Blue cheese fondue and a ruga on a grilled French roll look how cute it is with its tiny Santa hat it’s got a Santa hat on it it’s a few weeks late take a take a bite out of crime like McGruff Did only you can stop forest fires that was a different mascot that was Smokey the Bear we’re off to a great start take a bite it’s pretty good this is being shown to someone in Upper maner like you put them on think it’s this the bread is soft it
Looks like it would be hard I definitely could have cut that with this plastic knif I expected that was going to be like rock hard it wasn’t no it’s nice and soft the meat is perfectly cooked very tender very chewable it’s very chewy it’s not at all um stringy or no
We’re the first customers of the day so maybe they had to did hit it perfect but it’s it’s it’s very good this is very good I love it and the the richness of the cheese it’s really and the caramelized onion flavor is uh they on
The back end I like this a lot we’re going to move to another ex yeah okay we can have new Cutlery you don’t don’t have to reuse this Old Cutler and just throw that there I if only had brought my Spike the Beast bring the bring the
Mexico stuff over from we used to joke and say it was the hungry hamburger cuz we didn’t know what it said um it’s the hungry artist it’s El artista hento amento amento excuse me a classic and colorful Mexican fair I feel like you remember when Christoph Arley would read
The zagit on SNL and he played an old couple with Adam Sandler classic and colorful mexic I just SP food everywhere we’re doing great everybody doing great uh the carne assada is Chipotle marinated beef Sirin gred grilled queso fresco uh npal napala salad with queso fresco foam and chichon dust chichon dust nice
Chich would you like a rainon fork yes please and a knife move this uh cocktail out of the way so I don’t know where to start the G grilled queso fresco oh look at that I’m going to so I’m going to cut a little piece of lot dense cheese on this table right
Now and there’s also food I want to go Home let me go home you can see the meat is prepared very well like like a medium rare probably it’s very good it’s a little chewy but it’s got good flavor oh wow what about the cheater own dust though that’s that’s how you know it’s good so much juice and
Flavor for a festival steak right that’s tremendous I don’t know that the chichiron dust blew me away so what is this is the cheese yeah that’s the cheese and then oh look at that look at that griddled Mark oh my God I love that yeah I’m not getting any chichiron dust
Yeah but I love the I mean who doesn’t like cheese right right this is another one we’re I mean usually fesal the Arts is the one we like the most so yeah all right what do we have this is the lobster toast tost de losta chilled Lobster with
Chipotle oi onions and mango on a fried corn tortilla with guacamole shredded cabbage and hot sauce we’ve been through this before I don’t necessarily like food that is cold like meat that is cold yeah lobster cold I don’t how else you eat L you like your Lobster Hot yeah and
I dip it in butter you know and like I like a cold Lobster dish you know we’ve reviewed Mexico a lot over the years and often we do not like the food there are several things that they’ve done similar to this dish in the past I went wrong right this tostada
Like ended up getting all wet and then like didn’t really come up with it you couldn’t cut it it’s the right level of crispiness right so it breaks it’s got a nice crunch when you bite into it the lobster flavor is there there’s a good amount of lobster in there yeah there’s
Right amount of hot sauce so you got a tiny kick in there but it’s complimented by the SLO the SLO cools that down um I really like this too I I I think this is the weakest of the four things we’ve eaten so far but I
I’m not a seafood guy so I don’t know iagree but I like especially cold seafood cold seafood I mean I feel like when it’s cold each little imperfection is easier to pick out and taste I’m not saying I mean the fishiness when when seafood’s cold that fishiness is always
Way more prevalent right but I I but that’s a good note right if you don’t like cold seafood yeah if you don’t like cold seafood don’t get this right but it’s okay because they gave us two different margaritas didn’t give is one of them blood orange for Spike the be no it is
Uh what do we have we have the uh Ruby delicios Margarita which is troma Blanco tequila Le black currant Lor citrus mint spicy agave and beet juice don’t say it two more times don’t Say goad oh God I got to be careful how I react to This we can’t play the music for a legal reason there are people out there that really going to like that is one of them you no but I think I think I know what I like and don’t like that’s it’s it’s not offensive to my pilette it’s just not something that I’m
Going to walk around drink like all their stuff it’s real syum I’m not a big fan of Festival cocktails in general I don’t like the Mexico Pavilion in general I know people love laava I think the laava stuff is too syrupy it’s batch made it’s just not great I know people
Get it cuz they want to drink around the world and they like people like margaritas but I this is one of their better ones In fairness but I think we need to stir this next one up a little bit we always need to stir oh we should
Give this a stir and try it again that’s the other thing with the Mexican ones they get real quick they get watered down and I know people go oh you’re photographing it BL it’s a little more Rich this time I like it less stirred up
Oh it’s worse yeah good thing we did oh that is so pungent it’s like I bit into a beet don’t say beet juice oh I just said beet now you said it twice one more time one more time and we’re in trouble then like a thing of beet juice comes down over
You oh you just said what an idiot can’t take you anywhere I wish you wouldn’t no I’m not that could be a r styler and W this is oh it’s so give it to J don’t drink anything it’s spicy so it’s like I bit into a spicy
Beet he’s going to love it it’s weird he loves when I was a DJ I used to say come bite into this spicy beat it’s weird right like I don’t like spicy drinks I would actually like this if it wasn’t spicy Jason’s never met a purple cocktail he didn’t love though true half
The beers in shamb the number one purchaser of shamb it’s missing glitter world oh if that had glitter no I wouldn’t get that what you want to stir this one up this banana uh let me see what it’s called banana yep uh it’s called Uh Smokey Banana Bliss Margarita watch late cuz it’s
Going to be spilling out got 10 to one rum uh illegal mcal Hoven I’ll take those odds uh that means young mcal and banana puree and lime juice it still looks like it’s a little bit separated like a little oh well I don’t really want the Banana Leaf I’m Honest it’s not like Eric to not want some something from a fruit or vegetable there is a cough medicine aspect to this God this the every Festival we have one drink was it down with every Festival we have one drink that tastes like chloroseptic and this
One does is that right is your no that’s worse than usual I don’t taste banana at all my teeth are sticky now like my gum my my lips are sticking to my teeth do anything tastes like banana I don’t tast banana tast that artificial banana that you find in like like a children’s
Medicine or candy don’t mix those two [Laughter] up all right Jason we were doing so well and then we got to Mexico drinks oh what is wrong with this man if you were alive in the ’90s we are making some references I don’t I don’t like Mescal
But no that’s not even what I don’t like about I don’t get a smokiness of Mescal I don’t get a banana flavor I just get it’s like a real thick syrup yeah it’s a banana pure te are sticking there’s a banana puree but I will oh that’s my favorite prce song
Puree they got it in a secondhand store that’s what it tastes like so what what is that from and that’s only that’s not that’s returning for damn sure that’s the deconstructed keyme pie from the deconstructed dish on our colorful our wonderful walk of colorful Cuisine uh a classic of the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts is joining us this is the uh deconstructed keyme pie which is a flexible keyme curd that was my nickname in college uh keyme moose scram cracker cake and mering your name rhymed with that I don’t know what we didn’t stir a drink
With this these two yeah those look like they’re clean here I’ll use this one this thing looks like a creamy thing this looks like a fruit it’s not don’t worry I know but I remember this this is just like this is like mering a hard sugary mering it’s not a soft I don’t
Know I’m trying to construct myself a key lime pie you didn’t even take the lime you just had the key God I hate vegetables we me shut up it’s really good this is fantastic that was sad this is like Astron ice cake is so moist the keyme mousse is
It’s so tart everything about this is phenomenal I love this dish I hope it never leaves like God God God dressed uh my frangipane cake I know so many people said about the frangipane cake from pop eats which has been here since the beginning which is now gone Eric’s still
Eating so it must be I’m trying to mix it all up properly just got to get that beet and banana taste out of our mouths I’m going to have another bite cuz it’s so good we’re going to move on though let’s move on let’s move pop eats
This is another returning in a in a festival favorite uh which again will be a long I’m going to I should get a paid every time I say this the wonderful walk of colorful Cuisine item Eric U this is the uh which one is this is this the pimo uh
Tomato soup with pimento cheese bacon and fried green tomato grilled cheese no you don’t want it I’ve had it before it’s like it’s a favorite they’ve had a review I know that you know it’s good no just not not feeling it I’ve had this before it is good it’s very good
Can you go wrong with pimento cheese grilled cheese that Japan the soup it’s a basic tomato soup it’s very good presentation oh is A+ there’s a reason this is a festival standard and a reason you should get it it’s buttery toast pimento cheese it’s so rich people take this empty soup can

I am so excited for this new era of WDWNT where you arenât actively being persecuted! I can imagine how the old regime wouldâve spun anyone into a mental health crisis- having a company you love actively know you, BY NAME, and you know for a fact they talk about you and that it isnât positive wouldâve wrecked me too. Can you get them the feedback that it's obvious the sizes of the drinks and food have seen huge reductions while increasing the prices by 1$ or more? I have pictures from each year 2019-2023 and the sizes are getting smaller by idk đ€·ââïž alot. It's literally not being talked about. Just people mad at the prices but prices go up. I get that but not reduce portions and then hit me with a 1$ increase as well…. It really made the biggest impact on our experience at Epcot because we felt taken advantage of. It shouldn't cost us 15 or 16 for small margs at booths even the beloved avocado margaritas are almost 20 a piece and have become tiny. The slices of meat they are selling I saw on another channel of their portion of Carne asada vs the picture in front of the booth is hilariously different. I think they need to take into account that we may can get in the park at a certain a budget but we want to be able to enjoy being in the dang place. That includes food and bev
