Overall the dragon Sriracha feels more acidic and saltier, also packs more heat. Being fair my bottle of sriracha has expired so Idk how that affected the flavor profile as it had more time to oxidize and ferment.
The dragon onenis good, but the flavors are not very comparable.

Bro wtf, clean the tops on your bottles after use. Or at least before posting it on the internet lol, looks nasty.
I didn’t know these had sugar in them, I guess I need to stay away from them being diabetic.
Gonna need more garlic than acetic acid for me.
I like the Underwood. But I j was never a huge original Sriracha guy.
Jalapeños are not used in sriracha
I’d be interested to hear from someone that knows more about hot sauces from a production standpoint point but I’d imagine age+oxidation has changed the flavor quite a bit and age+oxidation in my experience (beer/wine) the result is commonly a sweeter perception that generally reduces the perceived acid, salt, or bitter flavors among others, I’d be curious to know if that would do exactly what you describe simply from age.
The underwood is spicier than the original. While I don’t think we’ll ever get back to the original flavor, the underwood is my preference.
Too much sugar and preservatives. I will stick to hot sauce that has neither.
I still have 2 unopened bottles of the OG. Been sitting in the back of the fridge. I have 3 bottles of the new stuff coming soon. I’ll do the same comparison 🙂
I love the dedication of this sub!
My new favorite sriracha is Yellow bird blue agave sriracha
Interesting water not listed as an ingredient in the original but it is in dragon
