My mom would always ask my dad to bring back Kimmelweck rolls any time he was near Buffalo so we could have Beef on Weck.

What cut was that exactly? Saying a “good cut of roast beef” is pretty general.

I’ve only had this sandwich at Wegman’s, which I assume is a poor facsimile for the real thing. I have no reason to ever go to Buffalo, but if I do, this sandwich will be the first thing I do.
