Thats another nail in the Subway coffin if they take off here I bet, just like Subway did to Quizno’s I suppose.

I’ve never had Jimmy John’s before but i’ve seen lots of good things. I hope it lives up to that hype.

  2. > Jimmy John’s Canadian arm will be managed by Foodtastic Inc., the Canadian franchisor that manages over 1100 restaurants across the country including Freshii and Milestones

  3. unless they have a cheap price point, our bomb sandwich shops will crush them… they’ll be packing up home like Wahlburgers…

I grew up on Jimmy John’s and love it. It’s your classic no-frills sub. Not luxury like Firehouse but I prefer it over Subway any day. It’ll be interesting to see how they do though as the space is competitive here with Belly Buster, Lambos, Subway, Firehouse, and others. I’m sure if they succeed, Jersey Mike’s is not far behind.

For a moment I got all excited that Publix was opening up in TO (iykyk), but it’s just Jimmie Johns (yawn).

I’m a Belly Busters girl. To those that have had both, is Jimmy Johns similar?

I LOOOOOOOVE Jimmy John’s. Makes Subway taste like you’re eating a nerf ball.

I’m very happy about this. I go to the US a lot for work and I don’t get the greatest per diem so I have Jimmy John’s for lunch often. It’s affordable and great quality. My favorite order is a regular Vito combo, extra oil & vinegar dressing plus mayo with a giant kosher dill cut in quarters as the side.

I really wanted it to be Jersey Mike’s.

Especially after that recent episode of the A Hotdog Is A Sandwich podcast.
