My husband is obsessed with the paranormal so I put together this alien spaceship cake for his birthday with the power to beam up earth creatures! Apparently owls are paranormal related somehow (I’ve learned not to ask too much)
Cake was his favourite… Sally’s Baking Addiction funfetti with a custom blend of green/purple/pink/blue to continue the alien/space vibe.
The angled base of the cake is an upside down dinner plate frosted to match. The clear dome was a chocolate mold from a craft store that I trimmed.
Beam was made by putting an LED light under the cake and balancing the whole thing on a plain glass vase.
Definitely my most creative cake yet!
