Today I’ll showing you guys how to make a pineapple upside down cake, this cake is very beginner friendly so if it’s your first time making a cake try this pineapple cake it’s easy with just a few steps and did I mention its very delicious with a little gooey topping you won’t stop licking you fork lol.

An upside-down cake is a cake that is baked in a single pan with its toppings at the bottom of the pan, hence “upside-down”. Then, when removed from the oven, the upside-down preparation is de-panned onto a serving plate, thus righting it, and serving it right-side up

Topping Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
8 pineapple slices
about 8 cherries

Cake
1/2 cup unsalted
1 cup light brown sugar note* “dark brown works better”
2 large eggs
4 tbsp pineapple juice from the can
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

bake on 320 for 55 minutes

  7. Lol, I loved at your recipe for the ingredients and amounts. I laugh because for the cake batter your recipe says 1/2 cup unsalted but it doesn't say what it is other than that. I know you meant butter but still think it's funny
