  1. Great question! It's best not to substitute wheat flour for 100% of all purpose flour in the recipe. Using all wheat flour will give you a very dense, heavy and dry crust. It's best to use no more than a quarter of the wheat flour if you wish to your some in the recipe. Happy baking – let us know how the substitution works for you.

  4. Hello. Yellow cake mixes come in different shades of color. Did you not like the taste of the whole dessert or just the cake layer? It is possible that you didn't cook the filling for the bars long enough for them to set up.

  9. I Making this now but after half way baking my crust I sprinkled sea salt lightly pressed it into crust with spoon and its baking.. then I'll add my filling..excitedly waiting
