French Onion Sloppy Joes?

    Ingredients:

    * beefy french onion packet
    * packet of au ju (did not use all of it)
    * buns
    * 1 lb ground beef
    * onions
    * mushrooms
    * garlic
    * gruyère cheese

    Recipe

    * brown your ground beef then add it to the slow cooker on low for 3-4 hours
    * add in 1 dry packet of beef or regular french onion
    * make your au ju – my packet made 3 cups I only added a few tbsp in the crockpot and saved the rest for later to cook the mushrooms & onions
    * make sure to stir every now and then
    * cook your onions & mushrooms in the au ju and add them to the crockpot when there’s about 30 min left
    * serve on buns and add shredded gruyère cheese

    **Note: this dish does not need any added seasonings esp salt – it’s very flavorful**

    Most likely thing I’ll somehow or another get myself to make I’ve perhaps ever seen here.

    Was thinking maybe slider buns so one could more easily dip it into the *au jus* … big thanks for the idea/recipe!
