Just found this sub and thought this would be good to post here.
My mom and dad were staying with us to help us move into a home we had just purchased and I thanked them with a Korean BBQ spread.
I’m learning to make a lot of the dishes myself. My favorites so far are gimbap, japchae and spicy pork bulgogi.
Pictured from left to right are:
-Spicy pork bulgogi
-Romaine lettuce for wraps
-Ttoekbokki
-Corn cheese
-Marinated beef bulgogi
-Cucumber kimchi
That was my first time attempting ttoekbokki and corn cheese on my own. Everything turned out great and was promptly devoured.

I guess you figured it out already, but the pointy end of the chop sticks is supposed to face away from you 😉
oh, and it looks delicious. good on ya for learning to cook korean cuisine.
and one more thing. why a strainer spoon for the ddeokbokki? don’t you want the sauce? i always want the sauce 😋
Damn. I helped my friends move and only thing I got was a few beers and some pizza.
Looks amazing!
Can I make a suggestion? I make a jar of ssam mu and keep it in the fridge. It goes well with kbbq yes but also nice to have since it’s vinegary sweet crunchy and refreshing.
It’s like 4 bucks for a tiny thing but with just one mu, you can make a 32oz jar (takes 5 minute prep)
