    Now this may be common knowledge and I am just slow, but I thought this was a pretty great way to spruce up overnight oats.

    Basically what I do is make up a smoothie with **whatever** I want. Ill throw in milk, greek yogurt, peanut butter, frozen berries, protien powder, cottage cheese, bananas, instant coffee, literally anything I want that could go good in a smoothie. Then I blend it all up, pour it over oats, mix it up, and leave it in the fridge overnight. I find this to be a much easier way to do overnight oats, which is saying a lot because they are already easy! Next week I want to portion out a few jars with smoothie so that I can just grab them and throw in oats the night before for a super quick breakfast prep. We run most mornings before work so having premade breakfast is key since we are always short on time. Also I think reheated eggs are not worth it!

    Recipe for pictured oats (makes 2 servings)

    * 1 1/2 cups milk
    * 1/2 cups greek yogurt
    * ~3 tbsp peanut butter
    * ~1tbsp maple syrup
    * 1 banana
    * 1 scoop protein powder
    * I usually add frozen strawberries to the smoothie because I am not a fan of thawed frozen berry texture, but my wife prefers to have the berries whole. Do whichever you like.

    Blend this all up and add between 1 and 1 1/2 cups of smoothie to 1 cup of oats (1 cup if you prefer your oatmeal more on the firm side and 1 1/2 cups if you prefer it more on the pudding side). Mix it all up and set it in the fride overnight!

    Would not reccomend adding the oats more than 12ish hours in advanced as the oats really start to lose their texture at that point. My wife eats leftover overnight oats all the time though so maybe that is just me. Clearly we have differing opinions on food textures lol. I have never pushed the limits on how long the smoothie will last in the fridge but it seems that 3-4 days seems to be okay.
