When I say that this dish is mindblowingly good, I am not kidding. I had cilbir a few years ago for the first time, prepared in an authentic turkish restaurant and I was amazed at the simplicity of the ingredients and the depth of flavours despite how simple it really is!

In short, I just had a random craving for creamy garlicy yogurt with poached eggs and paprika butter. It was delicious as always. Beat way to spend my last 200 calories.

Try it, you might like it!

Recipe:

Grind one quarter of a garlic clove and mix with a small-small pinch of salt. Then, and only then add your 60g of plain yogurt (preferably room temperature) Mix it together, spread it on a plate or in a bowl, then prepare to poach your large egg how you normally would. Next melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a small pan, add half a teaspoon of paprika powder then allow it to simmer gently for up to a minute. Pour over the eggs and the yogurt, add dried mint or dill for freshness. Eat with a spoon and enjoy the bliss!

P. S.: Thank you turkish people, for coming up with such an amazing dish❤️
