My version of Zuppa Toscana

Pick up some groceries and stuff for them and then get some stuff that I need for dinner as well so I’m going to head that way and I will see you guys in a bit hey guys so I just got done uh going to the store the three different stores

When I told my mom get a list she got a list um so I had to go to three different stores for them which is fine it’s not a big deal just didn’t think it was going to take me this long it’s pretty packed today here in

Town but I got everything that they needed hopefully I got the right stuff and if I didn’t she’s going to let let me know but I got their stuff and then I got my stuff for dinner and I’m going to go drop off their stuff and head on home and that

Way I can get started on dinner so we can have dinner early today cuz I still have a lot of stuff to do I got to get my stuff together for tomorrow we won’t be leaving super early which is good but I still got to get up early because

I got to get Gabby I got to get Gabby ready but I got to get um paperwork and and all that together for tomorrow so I don’t want to I don’t want to forget anything so I’m going to put everything in one bag and have it ready ready to go

My mom’s nervous already she was talking to me right now a little bit she’s she’s a little nervous but I told her just to be just to be positive it is pretty packed here today there’s a lot of traffic there’s a lot of people in the stores

I mean I know it’s it’s close to Christmas but I didn’t expect especially right now the time that it is for like Walmart to be so packed and it wasn’t just Walmart Fiesta was super packed too all right I’m going head to my mom’s guys I’ll be back hey guys I’m back home

And I am hungry so we do have some of that leftover taco soup so I already started warming that up that up and I’m going to have some right now cuz I am hungry and the weather calls for it again I mean I am making soup for dinner

But it’s a different soup so it’s okay but I’m warming up my food and I’m going to eat I’ll show you guys once it’s done all right guys I served myself I did add little red pepper flakes to mine art is home and he got some too but did you want red pepper

Flakes I’m good the Fritos are right here too but it’s really hot so watch out how is it still good mhm better now better than last night it’s really good think get marinated it’s just super hot which is how you like it mhm and super cheesy

B we’re going to finish eating we’ll be back hey guys so miss Gabby just got home and they had their Christmas party at school today I’m going to assume that’s what happened today but she brought in a a stocking and so I had you

Know I have to go through it and she got a lot of cute little stuff but look at her her uh stocking it’s super cute has her name on it and then she’s got chips and all kinds of candy but I did have to go through it

Um and then I took out there was a a cookie that she cannot have and then there was a Snickers and a Three Musketeers that she cannot have cuz they contain eggs but all the other stuff she can have and she got a couple little

Toys let me see show me show me what you got in your hand yeah and then the little tiny Slinky over here I asked she wanted me to put everything back in her stocking she said no I think she just wants to enjoy what she got

Head Wake up sleepy head yeah don’t wake up sleepy head hell no hey guys so it is dinner time I’m going to start making dinner I already started chopping up some onion I’m going to make some um the way I make uh the SOA tasana from uh or soupa Tuscana from Olive

Garden so I have my my pot I just turn the stove on so that way I can start warming up my my pot so it’ll be ready right now as soon as I finish chopping up this onion so I’m just going to chop this up I’m going to wash my kale and

Then hopefully I’m ready to go so let me finish this up I’ll be back all right guys so I have my pot here I’m going to go ahead and add uh some Italian sausage it’s about a pound of Italian sausage and I got the mild you

Can do the spicy if you like spicy I didn’t get the spicy cuz I don’t know if it would be too spicy for the kids well for Gabby so I just got the m all right so I’m going to go ahead and get this browned and I’ll be Back all right guys so the sausage uh got browned and now I took it out took all the sausage out and I’m going to start adding bacon and that same little oil from The from the sausage so I’m going to C down this bacon and that same little all right I’m going let this go I’ll be back all right guys so sausage finished cooking now I have up I have some cut up bacon and I’m going to go ahead and add that in

There and I’m going to go ahead and start frying that up and I I’m using the same little grease that um the sausage left so just going to fry up the bacon and then I’ll remove the bacon as well so I’ll be back all right Guys bacon is done and I

Went ahead and took it out of the pot I did leave about a tablespoon and a half of oil of the bacon grease in there so now I’m just going to sauté my onion I chopped up an onion and I’m just going to sauté that in here and then I’ll add garlic once

This uh Cooks down a little bit let that cook down I’ll be back all right guys now that the onion has cooked down a bit I’m to go ahead and add garlic and I’m going to cook that down for about a minute or two and I’ll be

Back all right guys now that that is cooked through I’m going to add about 2 tbspoon of flour and I’m going to cook the flour for a minute or two and then I’m going to add my chicken Broth so let me go ahead and cook this down I’ll be back all right guys now that the flour has cooked out of the raw flow taste has cooked out I’m going to go ahead and start adding my chicken broth I’m just going to keep mixing so that it doesn’t Clump

Up all right so let me go ahead and finish this up and grab my potatoes I’ll be back all right guys now that I’ve mixed that up pretty good I’m going to go ahead and add my potatoes I peeled and diced about four large potatoes so I’m going to go ahead and

Let those cook down just till they’re fork tender go ahead and cover that all right I’ll be back all right guys so the potatoes are now fork tender so I’m going to go ahead and add the sausage back [Applause] in and I’m going to add most of the bacon we can save some

For topping but I think I’m just going to add it all in all right and then I’m going to add in a cup of heavy cream and then I also have uh kale that I uh washed and cut up so I’m going to add the kale in there as

Well and then I’m going to go ahead and let this cook probably for about 10 15 minutes until the kale is nice and wilted so I’m going to cover that and I’ll come back all right guys I forgot to Vlog but I did add a little bit of uh salt and

Now I’m just adding some black pepper just going to mix it around I’m going to cover it and I’m going to let it go and while this is cooking I’m going to go ahead and put the bread sticks in the oven all right I’ll be back all right guys this is what the

Yeah I kind of thought so too right now when I when I tasted it but I think what it has to do with too is I use like actual chicken broth like homemade chicken broth so that could be the the kicker you all need to try this one

Out but art loves uh this this soup from Olive Garden but then he also loves uh sausage and potatoes so it’s a win-win with this soup with him make some um creamy garlic sauce next time with the bread stick oh for the bread sticks some alfredo

Done but I got Gabby showered and off to bed tomorrow is surgery day so I’m going to get myself together I got to I got to edit I’m going to try to put out another video before I uh so I can have it ready hopefully I can get it done but
