We all LOVE Mrs. Ingrid’s from the church’s potato salad! (read more about why on my blog) In this video, I attempted to replicate her famous potato salad! Although this recipe doesn’t have her special touch and I feel it’s still missing something, it’s become my FAVORITE potato salad recipe!
It’s so creamy and the flavor is amazing! I’ve yet to find anyone who doesn’t like it, even folks who swear they ONLY eat potato salad made with Dukes lol. (raises hand)

This is exactly how we make potato salad here in south Texas, but my mom always added a bit of the sweet gherkin juice to it. YUMMY!
I add radishes, harder tomatoes and shredded carrots and it takes it to the next level, don't knock it till you try it.
Have you tried adding some sour cream along with the mayo?? I add it and it really is yummy. Maybe that's her secret….🤔

I'm from Louisiana and I am a Hellmann's or Blue Plate girl for my potato salad.
Black pepper is good for you. It has a lot of antioxidants.
I will never use Hellmann's again. I has oil standing on top of my potatatoe salad! 😡
I made this for a family party & it was a huge hit. I did end up using Duke’s mayo instead of Hellman’s. I did not have the dried green onions, but I did boil the potatoes with some fresh chopped green onions. I had to add more mustard & relish until it tasted like someone’s grandmother had made it. I let it sit in the fridge for about 5 ish hours & it tasted CRAZYYYY. let those flavors marinate together for a few hours! that’s the key!
