Started with what we’re going to do as far as our shrimp getting it seasoned up and our batter so as people are coming on it really helps if you all can kind of reiterate when they’re asking questions I’ve already answered so I appreciate those of you who already do that um
Because it is very helpful to me so here I just got some they say jumbo shrimp they’re big but they’re not that big so we’re going to add in a few seasonings here to our shrimp and this is going to be a fried shrimp for the girls lunch so
We’re going to start with some of our seison Goya we’re just going to do one package of that one is all you need we’re going to add in some of our old Bas seasoning and we do need a little bit more SE on let me grab some of that
That’s going to go in our flower mixture and this stuff is so cheap it’s like2 $3 and you get 20 packs so it’s very inexpensive U most of their products are and since this is for the girls I’m not going to overpower the you know with the
Spices um that’ll be good enough for them let’s move kind of quickly because we have to get this into the this oil that we have heating up over here and for lunch they’re just going to have some fries and some shrimp so I’m going to take one egg I got two
Out cuz I didn’t know if I need one or two so let’s see if this one egg is enough and you just want to mix it well until your shrimp are nice and coated okay and that’s a piece in there I don’t want that in
There that’s a part of the tail okay I’m like I theang my shrimp on both sides honey what is that okay now we got that nice and coated with our egg batter and I am going to do it one more time with my hand cuz I just feel like I need it to
Be right but I’ll do that before we put it in the batter now for my batter I’m going to use flour only now sometimes you’ll see me use corn starch and flour I told you that corn starch it kind of gives it a cleaner um crispier type taste what else does corn
Starch do um it’s lighter that’s one of the words I was trying to think about when I was explaining that it’s a lighter crust it doesn’t give it that heavy you know that heavy coating that thicker coating it’s more lighter okay and thinner so sometimes I’ll just use
The corn starch but here we’re going to use some flour and that should be enough for us shrimp I’m look at your comments in just a second hello Frank hi Mary he La Toya all right so we have the let me get my whis we have our flour
Let’s add in our seasoning so I’mma add some of that se on you don’t need all of it so I’m just going to use half of that packet and I’m also going to add some of that That Old Bay in there I’ll put a little bit of my onion and garlic in
Here just like a couple of dashes of it cuz you don’t need much P Latoya High Crystal and this is just garlic so a little onion and garlic a little bit of our Saison and a little bit of that old B now old B has sodium and so does the
Seison so you don’t have to worry about salt all the time okay when you’re cooking with salt you don’t have to add salt at least you shouldn’t if you use enough for your seasoning so we got that nice and Blended put this egg over here this is
My trash bowl and we’re going to start adding these shrimp in here and these are our shrimp and that’s seison Goya with a little old B and I use egg for the batter so I’mma take them one by one and drop them in here you don’t want to drop
Them all together it’s better if you kind of do it separate but you can do as you like but I found that they get coated more evenly if I kind of keep them separated like that if you know what I mean kind of like that and we’re going to get them all
Tossed don’t worry about it but I’m just trying to get them all in there first and get them a little coating before we start doing all of that get that egg out of there honey get it just a least of coating before you there we go he going to be some good shrimp
Now super easy fried shrimp now I got 19 shrimp for $10 19 nice size shrimp for $10 bag of fries $4 it may have been $3 to be honest so the point is you can at least feed two for under 25 bucks you’re not going to get no No 19 shrimp and no
Fries for under no $25 nowhere may get a 10 piece maybe and that’s a big maybe on top of that all right so now what I’m going to do is switch my glove because I can feel it it’s time to get that shrimp in there
Now I’m going to go in with my hand and forgive me for not looking at your comments I will get to them now I’m going to go in and do this okay and I did that for a reason cuz I needed every shrimp to get you know a coat on them
Before I went in like that if you throw them in there all together it it just messes it up I can’t explain it it just gets it all clumpy and it’s just a mess so I can’t fry my shrimp like that I have to do one at a time and then it

Shrimp and I do not recommend dumping them all in there at once there we go grab your basket let me grab my fries real quick now the reason you don’t want overcook the shrimp cuz they get rubbery they actually get rubbery they get tough you want a nice fresh shrimp look at

You it really really does and it doesn’t you can prepare ahead of time so things don’t seem like such a hassle for you and you will enjoy it a lot more so they’re about to have a shrimp and fried plate a shrimp and F fried plate we got some sauces
Here and Alana wants her Ranch soana wants Ranch she wants ketchup she’s going to get some tartar and Ral leg sauce or rad how we said and we’re going to get something to put these fries on and we’re going to make these plates okay let me get something to put them on

How I make their Kitty plates and I actually they have a bowl today they’re going to have a a fry and shrimp Bowl so these are done you can kind of feel you can feel the crispiness of the fry I can feel it in the basket so it’s

Them at the bottom like that let’s see that’s just enough that one kind of little burnt but she’ll still eat it okay now we got our two plates here and now we’re just going to take some of these shrimp nice and crispy shrimp I got to break one of these open
For y’all it’s hot where’s the camera okay you all look at that shrimp uh oh I’m sorry look at that shrimp y’all oh my God this is just how I like my shrimp it’s perfect it is so perfect so you just the key is don’t overcook it you don’t want to overcook
Your shrimp you have a nice coating on there the batter is on all of your shrimp it’s evenly coated so that’s why I I coat them like that because you don’t want your batter falling off you don’t want to put it in the grease and it’s falling off you want to keep an
Even coat on your shrimp okay that’s important they’re likely not going to eat all these shrimp but that’s okay it’s all theirs anyway so they can do what they want and we have some little cups here so we’re going to put some of the sauces in these cups now Bella only gets
Ketchup so we’re going to do two ketchup and then I’mma give these other three Alana wants Ranch can you all see okay Alana one Ranch and then she’s going to get a little bit of the r a lot uh oh Bella must have did something cuz she’s calling me uh oh there it is I’m not going to give her much of this because I don’t know if Alana’s going to really like it but I wanted her
To at least try it so that’s why she said she would try it sound like it’s about to storm here honey and a little bit of tartar sauce so we I don’t like cocktail I don’t I don’t think none of my kids do either but I’m not eating n anyway so it
