Hey guys welcome back to my Channel today I have a brand new grocery haul and meal plan for the week to share with you I have found one of the best things that has helped me on my rebooted weight loss Journey this year on WW has been
Coming with a plan for the grocery store making my list intentionally setting meals and options for snacks and desserts but it seems like the better I can plan ahead of time the more on track I stay so I actually ran to HB our local grocery store after I picked up lla at
School yesterday yesterday and I filmed the haul right when I got home before I put everything away so here’s a look at the grocery haul and then let’s talk through this week’s meal plan for WW not a super huge haul but I have a lot of
Things left from a later in the week grocery shop of last week I have 1 two three packages of whole baby bella mushrooms can you guess what’s on the menu this week I grabbed a package of 8020 ground beef chuck this is going to be for tacos it’s a little over a pound
$ 4.96 that was a good price on that I think it is Citrus season so I grabbed a couple of caracara oranges these are so sweet and I love that they’re pink inside they’re so cute um and a bag of lemons and limes I needed some of both
The recipes this week so I grabbed a combo bag I have one head lettuce um that’s going to be for some wedge salads and then some baby spinach lyla’s been really into smoothies lately as like an after school snack so I throw a handful of spinach in with some frozen berries
Greek yogurt some almond milk if I making one for myself I’ll add in some either protein powder or a Premier Protein Shake I’ve been really into making myself breakfast sandwiches with eggs lately so I picked up some more English muffins these are the light multi-grain ones they’re 100 calories a
Piece some fresh Butter Bakery tortillas from HB is a must every time we stop these will be for taco night some oven roasted turkey breast some sliced cheddar cheese some garlic hummus for dipping with veggies or for we’re doing on turkey wraps that’s what I’m going to
Use some of the turkey for is with a low carb tortilla use some turkey and hummus um cheese lettuce onion adding things like banana peppers or jalapenos or olives or like any sort of extra add in you can do with that is going to give it
So much flavor and keep it really low Point by adding some of those spicy or acidic toppings some snacks we were all out of goldfish I picked up more of those for the kids well Lyla picked up more she was with me we went shopping after school today and she like snagged
I told her we were out so she immediately grabbed more I got two packages of this trail mix to try they’re the H brand Josh has a lot of late nights coming up at work in the next week so I asked him if there’s anything special he wanted and he
Mentioned just easy grab andg Go stuff like the turkey to make sandwiches and some sort of a trail mix so he can have a snack on the Run we also have the Chomps turkey jerky sticks that we keep in our pantry along with cheese sticks things like that yogurts and I had a
Bunch of that stuff still from our last grocery pickup so I got one pack for him to bring to work and then Lyla wanted some too so I let her pick out one as well for snacks after school I got two of the Jello-O sugar-free pudding mixes
One in cheesecake and one in white chocolate I’m trying to figure out a couple new low Point desserts that I can share here on the channel and also for myself because I’ve been having those sweet Cravings at night so I need to figure out something to kind of like
Curb that craving on occasion without overindulging when I don’t have any left for the day I like doing things like flavored Greek yogurt with fresh fruit or the yaso frozen Greek yogurt bars but I was like let’s let’s try my hand at a couple new recipes so those I will share
Here on the channel coming up make sure you’re subscrib so you don’t miss out on that one I also picked up some chia seeds I’m going to use this to add into some of our baked goods like mini muffins sometimes I’ll add them to like a overnight oats prep that kind of thing
It just adds some extra fiber and some protein some pb2 powder I used to use this all the time time or I’d whip up my own super low Point peanut butter you just mix this with a little bit of water it’s just powdered peanut butter but
It’s really good in smoothies or you can mix it in Greek yogurt for a flavored yogurt this is not low point this is just regular chunky blue cheese dressing but we’re going to do wedge salads one night this week so that’s one of the things that I’m just going to count the
Points for on because it’s about balance so anyway this will be something I just count the points on but the rest of the dinner is pretty low point I have some more Chobani Greek yogurt non-fat plain normally I get the Kirkland’s nonfat plain Greek yogurt but we were there
Over the weekend that’s where I don’t have tons of fruit in this haul at least for my family we picked up a 2B package of strawberries a 3B package of grapes and a double carton of raspberries at Costco over the weekend we literally ran there just for fruit and I actually
Picked up um some pre-made tamales there too they’re so so good and an easy week night dinner so that’s all that Costco haul was otherwise I would have filmed it for you guys it was like those four items I have some dill weed need I didn’t have that spice in my cabinet and
I need it for one of my recipes same with some wor stier sauce so that’s what I picked up for this week how I go about doing my meal plan for the week is I like to sit down with my phone here I have my ww app I can look back at past
Recipes I’ve entered into the app I can browse through recipes that they have as suggestions or on Tik Tok Pinterest that’s where I like to kind of search and find some recipes I try to do like two or three that I know my family already loves that I won’t have a
Problem getting them to eat I always save at least one day as a leftovers day in the middle of the week and then usually I’ll leave one day that’s flexible for either going out to eat picking up takeout or like scrounging around in the freezer for a simple meal
And that’s usually like something we’ll do like the chicken nuggets in the air fryer and fries for the kids or Josh and I will use the chicken nuggets on a salad so like a simple just easy grab and go from the fridge freezer kind of meal so that’s kind of how I plan
Dinners and then breakfasts and lunches again I might take a peek around for some new ideas for meal prepping or something like that for myself but otherwise I like to pick two or three options and that’s what we go with for the week so when Lyla gets up in the
Morning my older daughter and has to get ready for school I’ll ask her what do you want for breakfast she has a choice of like three things same thing with when I’m prepping her lunch for school she’ll have a choice of like two or three types of meals for the week and
She gets to pick which one she wants but that way it’s not like a whole scramble every day and sometimes some of those things are prepped so like forance since this week my breakfast list I have options being cereal for those fast mornings that we truly don’t have a lot
Of time that might include either cold seal or oatmeal I always have oatmeal and frozen fruit to make up a quick healthy hearty bowl of oats in the pantry I’m going to be meal prepping some banana chocolate chip muffins with the girls this week so those are a
Breakfast option where they’ll have a couple mini muffins along with a side of fruit or yogurt one specialty breakfast that I’m also doing as a part of my personal meal prep for the week is I’m going to be making some chicken chicken apple sausage breakfast burritos with
Eggs and veggies so something that’s a little bit harder full of protein and that’s something I’ll just I’ll make them ahead of time wrap them store them in the fridge in a Ziploc bag and then pop them in the air fryer to toast up and warm through before I’m ready to eat
Them so I am going to be doing a little bit of meal prep this week I’m going to hopefully film all of that and put it together in a video for you guys so you can see those recipes more in depth for lunches I picked up some turkey lunch
Meat that we can throw into wraps or on sandwiches if the girls want a warm op on a day we’re at home um I can do quesadillas and then every single week I’ve been trying to make a large batch of either like a soup stew chili kind of
Situation for dinner one night and then those will be the leftovers that we can use for lunch prep too so I have one of those it’s on my dinner list so hang tight so this week for dinners technically today that I’m filming this part of the video is Tuesday so last
Night was Monday when I went grocery shopping and started the meal plan for the week Monday night we did chicken parm in the air fryer so I used thin sliced chicken breast pounded thin I dip them in egg wash and breadcrumb and then I gave them a little spray with avocado
Oil and put them in the air fryer they get really nice and golden and crispy they cook super fast the cleanup is easy you don’t have to deep fry the cutlets or put them um to fry in a pan and then I topped each with a slice of part skin
Mozzarella cheese popped them in for just one more minute to get it nice and melty on top I ate mine like that with some 0 point marinara sauce on the side and then a nice big simple green salad with some veggies in there and 0 point R
Inch dressing so that’s how I had mine the kids had some pasta with theirs but that way the family was all eating together and eating the same thing but I just mixed it up for what worked best for me on that plan Tuesday we’re doing Taco Tuesday tonight that’s another easy
Meal that I know the whole family is going to eat we use plain non-fat Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and then for me if I need to switch out some of the points depending on what I’ve eaten that day I can nether eat the regular tortillas I get the fresh homemade ones
From HB and they are so delicious and totally worth Four Points a piece I will save my points that day to have some of those but if for some reason it doesn’t work out I also always keep in my freezer some of the low carb tortillas I’ve used law banderita I’ve used the
Mission ones I think right now I have a different brand that is at Costco but they’re usually like one or two points a piece I will say easy is like the theme of this week Josh has had some later evenings this week and it’s kind of been unpredictable about what time he’s going
To get home so we kept it being pretty simple so that way if I’m making dinner and he’s not home and I’m doing dinner and the kids and sometimes also filming which is a little chaotic but they’re easy meals to make so we’re going to do BLTs bacon lettuce tomato sandwiches the
Girls call this bacon sandwich night they tend to skip on the lettuce and tomato and just eat bacon and cheese on toasted bread but you know win some lose some we usually do like raw carrots or veggies with dip on the side so that’s like super simple easy meal Thursday I
Picked up these tamales from Costco when we went on our run at the end of last week these are so simple to make they boil in the bag that they’re in we’ve tried the chicken and now we’re trying the pork ones I’ll do a side of black
Beans for zero points just like plain black beans with a little bit of seasoning as well as again some plain nfet Greek yogurt for a sour cream dip Friday night is Josh and I’s at home date night usually I’ll give the kids a fun meal or something simple like mac
And cheese or maybe if we’re out and about I’ll pick them up you know some takeout like a Happy Meal or something on the way home but lately Josh and I have done takeout for our at home date night but I feel like takeout especially when it’s just something fast where
You’re driving through and bringing it home I feel like it’s gotten so expensive and I feel like I’m disappointed in the food like 70% to 75% of the time so a lot of times I’d rather just like use the money towards some good ingredients at the grocery store I
Enjoy cooking so as long as Josh is home on time and he’s in charge of the kiddos bed that that night while I make our date night at home dinner I still cook at home not every week but a lot of weeks so this week we’re doing New York
Strip steak and I’m going to make wedge salads on the side which is like iceberg lettuce red onion sometimes we’ll throw on some cherry tomatoes and then a little bit of blue cheese dressing but as long as I’m still like measuring out in weight like my ounces like how much
Steak I’m eating measuring out tablespoons how much dressing I’m having I can easily have like kind of a more indulgent meal like that on occasion and still stay within my weeklys and sometimes even my daily I don’t even dip into my weekly sometimes having a meal
Like that because if I know ahead of time and I meal plan it then I know to pick some smaller Point items from my other lists for breakfast lunch and snacks that day Saturday will be the night that we either go out as a family pick up takeout or we’ll just do
Something quick and easy at home a lot of times it is chicken nugget based we love the just bear chicken nuggets from Costco and the kids will eat those like they taste like Chick-fil-A so they’ll eat those with some Chick-fil-A sauce that I buy at the store in a bottle with
Tater tots and veggies Josh I may have it the same way or we might toss ours in Buffalo sauce and make buffalo chicken wraps again I have those low carb tortillas in the fridge which we’ll like put together some of and then Sunday is now soup stew Sunday at my house Sunday
Is the night I try to make that larger pot meal this week I have not one not not two but three containers of mushrooms I am going to be making Hungarian mushroom soup so technically I should have made this Sunday night but I didn’t get to the grocery store until
Monday night so I’m actually going to make this after I’m done talking to you guys on this video I am going to film it and put it into that meal prep video so you guys get the whole recipe and a step-by-step guide on how I do it the
Only tweak I’m doing to it and kind of making it my own is I am going to be adding some shredded chicken to it just to like amp up the protein a bit I don’t think traditional Hungarian mushroom soup based on the recipes I’ve looked at
Include it it’s very similar to kind of a strogen off but it is a soup I mean sauce or soup will eat it who says you can’t make recipes your own by adding and tweaking things how you like them so that was the inspiration though was Hungarian mushroom soup and we’re going
To be making a version of that um and I will make that this afternoon and we’ll have some for lunches the rest of the week so that was technically on the meal plan for last Sunday so I’m sure I will sit down and think through the meal plan
For next week and I’ll start it with Sunday for next week so that one’s kind of an open space right now snackwise some of my favorite things that I’ve been going back to week and week again are Pretzel Thins sliced apples and then
Some sort of a dip a lot of times I like to use plain non-fat Greek yogurt with a little drizzle of honey and cinnamon for apples so good nice and low Point snack also if I’m a little bit behind in protein for the day I have some of the
Chomps turkey jerky sticks those are really good they’re one of my favorite brands of like a turkey meat stick for snacks I usually pair that with cheese and crackers for dessert this week I’m also going to include that in the meal prep video cuz I’m going to make one and
It should offer multiple servings to Josh and I but we are going to try making a low Point high protein cheesecake I’m super excited about it so that’s a new one for us I haven’t tried it yet so I’m really excited to try that one out that’s what’s on our plan for

Sweet treat idea — Mix sugar free jello cheesecake with nonfat greek yogurt. Small amount of zero sugar cherry pie and a topping of sugar free cool whip cream!! It's really good, I need to make it myself soon.
Pb cheesecake cups .Use tge after jello cheesecake and the pb power a few tablespoons of lite whipped cream cheese .put crushed Graham crackers in bottom .
I love carrots with butter and dill on them .

🎉yes!I am once again trying to get back on track. This definitely helps .I joined WW back in November and have lost the program the whole month of January 😮😮😮. Which means I have not been tracking, very bad food choices, weight gain, lack of exercise, and overall not feeling very good about all of the above. been making gyros here. do a two ingredient dough and flatten and do it in a pan. Costco has already gyro meat, then I do my own tziki sauce/ cucumber, lettuce, onion and tomatoes. It has been really yummy.
I liked this format. I'm always looking for ideas and such for meals to change it up some. Like most people, I eat the same stuff every week. New ideas are always appreciated

i have really started to look forward to your videos, Lauren. i think the idea with the instant pudding is to mix it with cool whip or yogurt for a low calorie snack.

I picked up some sugar free pudding for desserts too. I use it for a protein pudding I saw on YouTube. A premier protein shake plus half the package of pudding mix. I use my immersion blender to mix well and split between two servings. It's 2 pts and very flavorful and satisfyingly sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing if you have any ideas!
Great tips! Fast food is not very WW friendly. When I use my app to see what I can eat there for the least points, it never even sounds good. And you are right! It's getting so expensive! Steak and wedge salads sounds so good and much more satisfying. I've been using my weeklies when we dine out on the weekend. I love your format and walking me through your week. I'm into my 2nd month on WW and am loving it! I haven't lost much weight, but I'm seeing small victories like clothing that fits better, and my face seems slimmer. I've also started to take care of myself more, got a haircut and did my nails and trying to dress more nicely! Thanks Lauren!

Just watched your video. I agree going out to fast foods doesn't taste the same anymore. They are too salty, and small portions for double price. I'm still learning how to meal prep everything and use it for meals. Thanks for your ideas. I saw the BLT sandwich sounds good,lol.
