I say they’re backhanded because they’re just trying to get me to spend more money, or nudge me towards the habit of buying high-margin add-ons which I find to be rip-offs.
Let’s go one by one
Free dessert: The only desert that even seem remotely interesting are more than $6.99. Unless you count that miserable looking cheesecake
$15 off Premium Meals: The premium add-ons generally cost $8.99-$9.99 per serving. Multiply that by 2, and you get $18.00-$20.00 extra total. So to get my “reward” here I need to spend $3.00-$5.00
$5 off Add-Ons: Same idea as above. Anything worth interesting is more than $5.00. So I need to spend money to “earn” it.
I have been doing this for a few weeks and it’s been great so far. But I feel insulted in that the rewards don’t feel genuine and honest.

They are like Panera rewards very elusive at times
I got the desert reward once. It was a teeny tiny cheesecake – really enough for 1 person. I was a subscriber to the 4 serving boxes. Gee thanks…. I guess we’ll each have a bite. 🙄
I never use the rewards. I don’t trust them, based on what others have said.
You just said it’s enough for a cheesecake so seems like a good time to try it, maybe you’ll like it. How bad could a free cheesecake be? And nobody said you have to get 2 premium meals, just get one and take the free meal. You can send them to me if you want, I won’t turn down free money
The cheesecake is just ok. Definitely nothing special. When I get rewards for add-ons, I’ve used it to buy extra proteins.
And I feel like every time I’ve gotten the premium reward, I don’t like any of the premium meals that week.
“Anything interesting” yeah to you, not our fault you have limited attest.
Also take my cheesecakes name out yo mouth (and maybe try it instead of having a winge)
