recipe is pretty straightforward, my boyfriend made the glaze so i don’t know exactly what he put in it but it had brown sugar and chili crisp which was yummy. cooked the ham at 325 for 3 hours, taking it out every 30 min to brush more glaze on it. i made the mac and cheese, i just make a roux with butter and flour and add heavy cream, milk, and whatever cheeses i have. i season it with paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic, ground mustard, msg, and a little bit of italian seasoning. i cook my noodles in chicken broth for some more flavor. i combine the noodles and cheese sauce in a pan (i used our dutch oven today) and add some more cheese and paprika on top before baking at 400 for 20 min. nothing too special lol i was just excited to find a ham for that cheap

Hell yeah 👍! Save the bone. Make bone broth from it and some of the meat you can’t get off the bone will fall off too. Use the broth, meat bits, 4 yellow potatoes cut in bite size chunks, salt, pepper, 2 crushed garlic cloves, a can of creamed corn and a handful of the onion and peppers frozen mix. The one with celery added is perfect. Even the fajita mix is good to make a potato soup. Saute the onion/peppers mix in about 2 tablespoons butter till translucent. Add the potatoes, broth, corn, ham bits, salt, ground pepper, and crushed cloves. Jarred garlic works too about 1/2-1 tablespoon. Simmer on low till potatoes are cooked through. Whisk 3 tablespoons cornstarch with cold milk. Slowly pour in a cup of the broth at a time to the cornflower mixture whisking well with each addition till it’s runny not a paste. Then stir into the pot of soup. Top with bacon bits, sour cream, cheese or whatever. This freezes really well because there isn’t any cream. You won’t miss it because it’s super creamy without it. If you want it thicker still, add instant potato flakes till it’s as you like. Remember it thickens as it cools. I accidentally forgot once and created something not great 😂

That looks delicious. If you get tired of eating it every day, ham freezes well.

Yes!!!! I got a ham after Thanksgiving, cut it up and put portions in the freezer, and ate off it once a week until the new year. It’s good in Mac n cheese, omelets, pizza, soup, so many things!

“boxed pasta and cheese” is hilarious
Ham looks awesome
Use the bone and a little meat for bean soup.
