Herbed Pork Chops & Gravy – 6/10. Pork was wonderful, gravy is fine. We did mashed potatoes instead of roasted, she loved the rosemary veggies but they’re a little bland.
Chicken Penne al Limone – 9/10. We left out the lemon because we usually find it distracting, but this was wonderful! Maybe the lemon would’ve made it 10/10, who knows.
Silky Sicilian Penne – 10/10, perfect, wonderful, incredible. Can’t even believe how awesome this was. One for the books.
Pub-Style Shepherd’s Pie – 9/10. This is a cottage pie, but incredible. Minus one point for lack of texture but so, so good.
Honey Butter BBQ Pork Chops – 5/10. Pork Chops are fine, but overall bland. Weirdly the green beans were the star here, though we oven roasted them rather than the microwave directions. Sweet potato mash was good, but lacking the sweetness present in the spicy maple chicken sweet potato mash.
