DAY 5 OF THE PANTRY CLEANOUT MEALS
I’m baking a muffin recipe I found in a old cook book I had.
It’s a Croatian cookbook that was given to me years ago.
I decided to make the raisin bran muffins. But of course I changed it up a little to make it my own.
FOR DINNER: I decided to use up some of those panko bread crumbs and Moroccan bowl spice to make a Moroccan chicken wrapped in bacon. 😋
I also show you what’s left in the must use up pantry area.

Oh my gosh hey everyone welcome back to my channel I’m Natty Homemaker and today is day five of my pantry cleanout meals if you’re new to my channel this is what I’m planning on doing this month I rotated my pantry lately and things that were best before or things that you know
Need to be eaten or packages already open I’m putting them forward and I’m going to use that this month to save money and just eat it up I’m going to make some meals with it I’m going to do some baking with it just to get it out
Of my pantry so I could restock my pantry and make it up to par so here’s a couple of the things that I had in that stockpile of things I need to eat up so we’re going to use some of that today because I’m going to be making some raisin brand muffins now
I’m using an old recipe book that I have it’s called a touch of Corian cooking I’ve had this since I was a teenager one of my old boyfriend’s M gave me that so that came from a Croatian family so anyways uh I’m going to be making like I said raisin brand muffins
But I’m going to soup it up a little bit because I have some things here that I need to get rid of so here’s a couple of the things that we’re going to using today so we do have the papaya dehydrated dice papaya that was from the Overstock the need to eat
Pantry uh flour brown sugar the rest is just stuff that I had in my normal pant tree we’re going to use the wheat germ or sorry the wheat bran and of course we’re going to use up this some of this uh powdered milk put my apron on so I don’t get all messed
Up and I’m going to make some R and brand muffins so I don’t have to cook for breakfast or lunch or snacks or something you know saves on time and we get a beautiful beautiful homemade muffin okay let’s do this so one cup of flour next it’s a brown
Sugar one cup of brown sugar brown sugar one teaspoon of baking powder better take that a little hole here half a cup of oil or shortening I don’t have shortening and the only oil I have is olive oil so whatever I’ll use it I won’t use half a cup I’ll use a
Little bit less than that because that’s just crazy it’s a little oil man so just under half a cup for me that’s what I’m using okay okay don’t like it too bad that’s what I’m doing I could follow the recipe to a tea but you know me got to concoct it my own
Way vanilla one teaspoon of vanilla vanilla is getting so expensive can’t believe the price on it now unless you buy the extract the extract is a lot cheaper but pure vanilla crazy crazy doesn’t there least that okay next off uh one cup of bran
And of course my cup is now full of oil so I’m just going to eye it one cup of BR it’s not going to make much muffins man put a little bit more CU it says 1/4 cup of wheat germ I don’t have wheat germ so I’m just going to add some more
Brand there okay okay salt 3/4 tablespoons of salt well you know me I’m just going to eye it so Magic Salt Magic Salt let’s get extra Magic Salt Magic Salt Magic Salt okay one a egg where did I put my egg so one egg should actually I’m just G to mix
This up a little bit like yeah mix that up before it gets to the wet stuff forgot to mix it up that’s fine whatever half a cup of milk still a little bit of oil in there from oil but who cares right it’s going down the same hole so half a cup of
Water I’m going to put three teaspoons of this powdered skim milk because I don’t have already made milk Stir It Up Stir It Up Stir It Up Stir It Up Stir It Up Stir It Up dump it in the bowl dump it in the bowl dump itum dump it on the
Bowl and it says one oh I’m going to need that cup again one cup of raisins so I got the sunmade raisins that I B bought in my last haul grocery haul it said half a cup couple reasons so I have a cup of raisins and I have these papayas these
Dried papayas I’m try one actually so I’ll put about that much in there yeah get her done son but we’re going to do this right guys we’re going to make sure this is super duper delicious and let’s just put some good vibes into this magic spoon magic spoon magic

Hear me my window’s wide open it’s probett early in the morning though it’s only like six o’clock yeah I was up at 5 this morning I’m up at 5: every morning so for breakfast today I just had hash browns and an egg and mock bacon Jay made that for breakfast this
Morning now I’m making these muffins how many does it make makes one dozen I don’t think that’s going to make a dozen but okay we’ll see okay so I’m going to use a ice cream scooper scoop them up equally bam I don’t know those look kind of
Small I don’t think there’s going to be 12 here 12 little mini ones maybe regular size muffins nope there’s no way no there’s no way that’s going to make 12 muffins guys unless you make really small muffins or something it’s just regular size muffins size of a scoop and it
Doesn’t even up to 12 so actually a baby little one a baby little one there okay so these two ones these two I’m just going to put a little bit of water so it equals out and you know just don’t you don’t have this excessive hot spots in the
Corner so just add a little water just like that there we go and now I’m going to put that in the oven and make myself some beautiful muffins so it’s going to take 23 minutes at 350 23 minutes at 350 doing some bacon for my man all he really wants is some raisin
Brand all right all right muffins are ready it’s muffin taste test Time this is what it looks like turned out very well let’s see if it comes off the paper very see how it comes off the paper oh very nice nice and clean let Try that’s good good flavor okay this kind of muffin you want to add some butter so we going to add some butter to that put some but up on top of that just like That all right time to try that so this beautiful muffin is delicious so I’m going to have this for this week have them for snacks or for meal whatever um that’s going to be my yummy treat I think Jay’s gonna love these okay I got me some chicken thighs
I got these for $2 a pack and Frugal that one day so let’s just cook that up is frozen partially just a bit we’re going to need a bowl and in that bowl we’re going to put some mayonnaise I’m going to put two heaping well three heaping tablespoons of
Mayonnaise okay so this is from the pantry clear out Moroccan One Bowl put some of that in there I’m going to mix it up real good just like that right put some parchment paper there got that ready oh oh my gosh got to be careful but I’m going to need one more bowl
Of there’s a plate I’m just using any plates guys I’m just using plates I got in my cupboard nothing fancy fancy just you know here we go little bit of salt and pepper magic pepper mag magic pepper magic salt now we’re going to have all the spices from this Moroccan Bowl
Here just going to smother that in beise like that and then get a little knife and just kind of sprad it on there dump it in the panko crumbs panko from the pantry just coat it in the panco and put it on here now I’m going to do that to the
Rest and I’ll be back I think these are boneless it’s all cut up in the inside there’s no bones I would have known that I would have stuffed them with something right damn would change my recipe all completely I still probably can I could put cream cheese in the middle or something
But yeah just see it like that it’s going to be delicious delicious oh there it goes just wrap up like that okay so there’s my chicken and I was thinking you know what I’m going to add something to it because we have this baking we picked up
At the butcher so that last butcher haul and we’re going to take some I love the smell of this how nice this bacon is e okay so I’m going to take some bacon and I’m going to put it on there maybe I’ll just wrap it around one how many do
I have one two three four one two three four hey that’s an idea let’s wrap it around it from the inside out because it closes opens up like that right then just Dazzle it like that there we go same thing with the other one it’s all open close
It put it like that like I could put some more stuff in here like cream cheese even and you know cheese or broccoli I could put broccoli in there so many things you could do but I’m just going to try like this close it that was a big one like
That let’s put it in the oven at 400 for 1 hour my Moroccan chicken wrapped in bacon so this is what we have left in our pantry so far on day five and I still say we have quite a bit I still have pasta sauce and beans and this sweet chili stuff
Here there we go still have some rocking spices some bu cubes some salsa still have almond almond we still have almond milk still have quite a bit guys got a can of beans there I found that the day I don’t know I went through my pantry
And like I said I was rotating products and I’m still finding stuff can you believe that I’m still finding stuff so one can of beans cream of bacon cream of mushroom cream of bacon tomato sauce with basil one two three four four of these things here so this is tomato paste
Still want to make my ketchup course radish white wine white V white wine vinegar apple solder some lasagna noodles coconut milk uh the vegetable the rest of that vegetable stuff that was a good soup I still have some uh the vegetable soup dry mix I got bunch of cans of tomatoes I
Think there’s like five cans left chel noodles ice cappuccinos I got three boxes of that still got this little pasta too I still got the big pasta and some Pinko holy cow guys oh and this stuff down here fruit cocktail Jello-O mandarine oranges coconut cream and I still got stuff down here Rice
Krispie squares or Rice Krispie Rice Krispie with cinnamon a little bit left there I can make some breakfast with that some cornmeal I’m think about making cornbread sweet cornbread and of course some coconut sugar oh gosh still quite a bit of stuff and those strained tomatoes and I have those strained Tomatoes so that is what I have left in my overstocked pantry the must eat kind of stuff so I’m going to just incorporate that with stuff for my fridge my freezer and of course I’m still making grocery hauls but they’re smaller just like extra stuff that I
Need for the week or things I need to make a recipe so that being said said hopefully we’ll get rid of all that this month because I want it out of my pantry because I want to restock with later dates so I have a nice clean Pantry with products that are up to
