Hattie B’s (Nashville hot chicken joint) will be opening its first Austin location on South Lamar this year and is currently doing a mini pop-up menu at Loro. Pictured is the spicy chicken sandwich with pimento cheese, slaw, pickles, and miso sauce. So good!

Went today – the chicken sandwich was awesome!
My wife didn’t like the smoked pimento but I thought it was delicious.
My wife and I went for lunch. They were already sold out of the chips and beer queso, but we got the bowl and the chicken sandwich and they were both delicious.
Fair warning to anyone wanting to hit this menu, Loro is _packed_, so either be prepared to wait or try to go off-peak, whatever that looks like.
Friday evening was a madhouse. They were also sold out of the queso. I think it was actually just the wonton chips they were out of so maybe they still give you queso?
The sandwich was good but sooo heavy with the pimento on it. Frozen painkiller was amazing.
Price?
They sure did run out of the frozen painkillers instantaneously.
My kid works there and was hosting Friday-was so bonkers bananas busy he came home w no voice 😂

My wife went with a friend last night and said it was good, but weirdly not spicy at all. Said it was good though.
DAMMIT! They just posted they aren’t doing the collab today (Sunday) since they sold out of everything. FYI for those waiting until today (like me) to go. Fingers crossed the collab is revived once Hattie B’s opens.
