    There is nothing wrong here. Just keep using it. Seasoning comes and goes. If you’re really concerned about the appearance (and that’s all it seems to be), nuke it off on a high btu gas burner and start over with the seasoning process. When applying oil, less is more.

    Mine looked like that – too much oil. I scrubbed off and started over. Very very thin layer of oil…. Lots of stuff out there on how to do it I won’t repeat that as I can’t improve on it.
