Sad girls don’t cry we bake episode 2

Hello everyone. Today I will be sharing this beautiful recipe and show you how easy it is to make heart-shaped churros. With these tips and tricks you are guaranteed to become a pro and will master making churros.

They are perfect for Valentines and of course GALENTINES!!! So make sure you send this to your besties and ask them to make it for you 😻

Ingredients:

– 1 cup water
– 5 tbsp unsalted butter
– 1 1/2 tbsp white granulated sugar
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 2 medium eggs
– 500ml vegetable oil (frying)
– 1/2 cup white sugar
– 1/2 tbsp cinnamon powder
– Nutella / Chocolate for dipping

Method:

1. Add in the water, butter, sugar and salt to a pan and let it come to a boil
2. Drop the heat and add in the plain flour. Make sure you mix this as soon as you add it in until you can no longer see any flour
3. Let the mixture cool for 10 minutes and in the meantime make the cinnamon sugar
4. Transfer into a separate bowl and beat in one egg at a time. Your batter should look like mashed potatoes once its ready
5. Add the batter into a piping bag and pipe on the heart. I got around 8 hearts
6. Add vegetable oil to a large pan and heat the oil until it reaches 175 degrees celsius
7. Slowly add in the churros and fry for at least 1-2 minutes on each side until they are golden brown
8. Dip into the cinnamon sugar straight away, finally serve with some chocolate and enjoy

Let’s talk about why you still haven’t made heart-shaped chur Ros for your bestie because I’m going to share the recipe and show you how easy it is this is episode 2 of sad girls don’t cry we bake so firstly you want to add in one

Cup of water to a pan followed by 5 tsp of unsalted butter add in the sugar salt mix together and let it come to a boil and then you want to add in one cup of plain flour and mix together until you can see no more flour turn off the heat

And let this cool for 10 minutes I made the cinnamon sugar whilst the mixture was cooling which is half a cup of sugar with half a tablespoon of cinnamon powder transfer the mixture into to a separate bowl and add in one egg at a time I used a hand mixer so it mixes

Quickly but you can definitely do this by hand it will take a lot longer and is slightly more difficult but in the end this is what your consistency should look like kind of like mashed potatoes I’m using a Wen 1 M open star tip add

The Piping Bag to a glass jug and fill in the piping Pags and star tips I used are linked to my bio alongside the heart pan I used in the video make sure it’s filled in evenly so that we don’t have any air bubbles left cut some baking

Paper into squares and add a blob to your bow so that the paper doesn’t move around when you pipe on the hearts this is the best best way to pipe the hearts you don’t have to waste time sketching out the hearts honestly just freestyle it and make a candy cane shape on each

Side and look how cute so I had some leftover butter which I used to create a mini heart so so cute next fill in your pan with some vegetable oil and make sure the oil is at 175° C before you drop in the churos the bacon paper

Should peel right off after a minute and fry it until golden brown on each side dip into the cinnamon sugar straight away be very careful because the churas are hot okay but we want the sugar to stick on the churos you know that saying you can give yourself evil eye sometimes

Yeah that happened to me I dropped some sugar inside the pan and it burnt the bottom and well I still haven’t been able to get it off but anyway that’s basically it I’ve tried to make it very simple so make sure you send this to your besties and make sure to follow me
