My version of cabbage rolls (involtini di verza) cooks in minutes. Stuffed with speck (smoked ham) and mozzarella cheese. You can add fresh basil on the stuffing if you like. The sauce I made is from store bought mushrooms stock or broth or you can replace it with meat stock. Tastier than regular white or red sauce.I tried both oven and on top of the stove. Prefer on top of the stove because cooks less than 5 minutes or until cheese just melted, also there’s no chance of overcooking the cabbage.
