I can’t help but feel like this ingredient list is wrong
The taste is fine, not very spicy, but I really think someone mistyped this.

I don’t see what is mistyped, if it’s not very spicy it looks like the ingredient list is right to me. Chili flakes and green peppercorns aren’t terribly spicy and they are pretty far down the ingredient list of what are the main ingredients.

Yeah weird that bay clove and star anise are the three primary ingredients. No way it has that much clove in it. Not more than peanut garlic shallot anyway. Or oil lmao!

Probably because of how much they put in the oil when frying the aromatics to infuse. The spice level and the amount of oil in that jar makes sense.

Is there some new thing where the Ingredients list doesn’t necessarily correlate to percentage by volume? Like typically the first ingredient listed is the highest rate, then second, then maybe some shit, then the “Less than 2% gang”.
Am I missing some new bullshit law?

The list is sorta right. The oil is heated in low temp with all those spices for an hour and then they are filtered out just before pouring on the chili flakes.
The oil has content from those spices. Best to list them in case someone is allergic.
