I think there’s a misconception that when trying to make healthier choices you have to stop eating all your favorite foods but I’m here to show you that healthy food can be super easy and absolutely delicious this plant-based BLT is a perfect example of how you can add whole grains legumes and veggies

Serves 2
Ingredients:
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tbsp tamari
– 1 tbsp maple syrup
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 pinch cayenne
– 1 tbsp Nutritional yeast
– 150g of tempeh
Instructions:
1. Cut the tempeh into 0.5cm thick slices
2. Add all the other ingredients to a container and mix well to combine
3. Place the tempeh into the box and make sure it is thoroughly coated. Let marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours, ideally overnight.
4. Cook on a lightly oiled pan on medium heat for a couple of minutes on each side.
