In the last couple months I’ve been blessed to discover Dave’s Hot Chicken. This was my second trip, both times I ate a Hot, and an extra Hot tender. Next time I go, I’m tempted to try the reaper tender. Has anyone here experienced the pleasure of the reaper tendies?
Also, is it true that they have you sign a waiver?

Extra hot was brutal enough the next day I’m not going above that level but waiver signing is a yes!
I door dashed the reaper tender so I didn’t have to sign any waver foolishness. It tasted strongly of chili powder, IMO and it was pretty damn hot. I only finished half of it, it got to that spot where it was hurting to chew. I enjoyed the extra hot though and that would be my go-to next time I try it.

Yes, there’s a waiver. I loved the reaper, and luckily I didn’t taste a lot of chili powder because I am not a big fan of that. It was delicious. I am told I need to try the extra hot to experience the flavor, but it was great to have something truly hot from a restaurant.

I did a reaper cauliflower tendy and it was pretty hot but nothing too insane. Heard their heats aren’t very consistent though.
Didnt have to sign anything but there was a little liability thing at the end of the receipt.
It’s very variable. I had reaper once and it was perfect. I had it again and it was very hard to finish (both spice level and taste wise). My go-to is the extra hot, which is more consistent. Hard to tell from the pic but your extra hots look darker than the ones at my Dave’s, fwiw
Edit to add that both times I had reaper it was a LOT hotter than extra hot.
I’ve had the Reaper sandwich, it was good and I’d get it again. If you can handle the heat the flavor is decent.
Had the reaper yesterday. Was amazing, but didn’t get much sleep last night cuz my stomach was not having a good time. Definitely gonna stick with the extra hot next time.
Reaper was ok, signing a waiver made me chuckle. The extra hot was a perfect blend of heat and flavor. We can always add a touch of various powders if we want it spicier.
One time it was seriously too spicy in my stomach to be enjoyable. Another time it was meh.
