Looks good, been wanting to try thighs. I’m not a fan of the smoke from the drippings and I did a roast and even though I tried to bank the coals to the back, the fat dripping was too far back, guess I’ll have to try the coals banked in the front instead. What’s the marinade?

Use the basket divider on the coals. Hot side hot, cool side cool. Get the char either way!

Next thought is less fire on the banked side. No criticism! Thighs can take the flame, and may look like a brisket with awesome bark. How you slice them and serve them will tell the tale. Carve slices off the spit for pita, tortillas? You’re on it. Pull whole off the spit, go for the pulled pork style and mix it all up. You’re on this good Sir!
