How To Make Chicken Satay | Satay Chicken Recipe | Easy Grilled Chicken Recipes

So get excited because it’s time for us to get into today’s video where I’ll be showing you the steps of how to make Chicken Satay that is not only full of amazing flavor but it also contains several different ingredients that have plenty of familiar beneficial health properties such as fish sauce, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and many more. This Chicken Satay or some may even call it Satay Chicken recipe is prepared by using boneless skinless chicken thighs that are marinated in a variety of spices and other ingredients overnight then threaded onto either a stainless steel or wooden skewer and grilled on an indoor grilling skillet or an outdoor grill which gives the Satay Chicken a nice sear and adds additional texture and flavor. This Chicken Satay or Satay Chicken recipe can be enjoyed all by itself or you can pair it with the homemade peanut sauce recipe I uploaded to my YouTube channel last week. You can also pair them with a bed of organic jasmine rice and your favorite grilled vegetables to make the meal complete. Ingredients:
Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
Tumeric Powder
Yellow Curry Powder
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Olive Oil
Low Sodium Soy Sauce
Fish Sauce
Light Brown Sugar
Coconut Milk
Ginger Root
Garlic
Exact Measurements:
2 Pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
Sea Salt and Black Pepper (to taste)
1 1/2 teaspoons Tumeric Powder
1 1/2 teaspoons Yellow Curry Powder
1 Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar (packed)
3 Garlic Gloves (minced)
1 Tablespoon Ginger Root (minced)
1/4 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce
2 Tablespoons Low Sodium Soy Sauce
Instructions:
First clean the chicken and pat it dry then cut the chicken thighs into 1 inch bite size pieces. Add the coconut milk, soy sauce, fish sauce, tumeric powder, brown sugar, yellow curry powder, garlic, and ginger root. Whisk the ingredients together until fully incorporated. Add the 1 inch pieces of chicken to the bowl and toss to coat every piece well. Cover the bowl with saran wrap and place in the fridge to marinate overnight. Once it’s marinated take it out of the fridge and remove the saran wrap. Place the marinated pieces of chicken onto a plate and begin threading the chicken onto a wooden or stainless steel skewer. Place the chicken skewers onto a baking sheet, brush both sides with olive oil, season with sea salt and black pepper. Place the skewers into a grilling skillet over a medium high heat and allow them to sear on both sides.

Cooking content and without any further ado let’s get into doin’ what Lila’s Best Eatz does best let’s get into this Chicken Satay recipe and let’s get to doin’ it right okay guys here are the ingredients needed for the Chicken Satay you’ll need boneless skinless chicken thighs,
Low sodium soy sauce, fish sauce, light brown sugar, coconut milk, fresh ginger root, and garlic for the exact measurement ingredients you’ll need 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighs clean and patted dry, sea salt and black pepper to taste, 1 1/2 teaspoons of
Tumeric powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons of yellow curry powder, 1 Tablespoon of packed brown sugar, 3 garlic cloves (minced ), 1 Tablespoon of minced ginger, 1/4 cup of coconut milk, 1 Tablespoon of olive oil, 1 Tablespoon of fish sauce, and 2 Tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce,
Okay guys in the first step cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces when you’re done this is what the end result should look like to a large bowl add the coconut milk, soy sauce, fish sauce, turmeric powder, brown sugar, curry powder, garlic, and ginger root whisk these ingredients
Together until they’re all well Incorporated add the chicken thighs toss the chicken in the marinade until it’s all evenly coated cover with saran wrap then place it in the refrigerator to marinate overnight once it’s marinated take it out of the refrigerator remove the saran wrap then
Take the chicken out of the marinade and place it onto a paper plate begin threading the chicken thighs onto a wooden skewer once you’re done threading the chicken this is what the end result should be next place the chicken skewers onto a baking sheet brush with olive oil season with salt
And black pepper turn the chicken skewers over onto the other side and repeat the same process once the chicken is seasoned and ready for the grill this is what the end result should be next place the chicken skewers into a grilling skillet over a medium high heat allow the skewers
To sear on one side before turning them over and allowing the other side to sear once the chicken skewers are done take them out of the skillet and place them onto a paper plate use a paper towel to wipe the skillet clean of any debris before adding more chicken and repeating the same
