Found the cherry bombs at a farmers market in Michigan. Picture a regular red bell pepper flavor wise and double it, very sweet. They are about 5k Scoville so not too hot, but a ton of flavor.

Cook the filling on a smoker for an even better experience.

I’m in rural Iowa and found plants at a Mennonite nursery. Had never heard of them before. Grew 2 plants last year and they will be a staple in my garden every year now .

Can’t find cherry peppers anywhere near me. Why are they so hard to find?

Great pepper, easy to grow, and makes great paprika.

I was gifted a bunch of these last year and that was the first time I tried them. I get that 5k isn’t a lot but I’m surprised they even have any heat. Maybe I was just given a really mild batch. It’s still interesting tho, and yes they’re super sweet and tasty!

These are my favorite peppers when they’re pickled. Love a good pickle brine with ACV so it has a sweet/tart/spicy kick. Dice em up and spread on a sub sandwich? Divine.

Are the peppers hot cherry peppers? I love those.
For anyone out there reading this, please do yourself a favor and go to your local pizza place, and order a plain pie with hot cherry peppers. It’s a really amazing combo, flavor wise and spice.
