So I’m just heading out to the grocery store and I thought I’d take you with me cuz I’m going to show you how I meal prep on a Sunday from start to finish everything from going to the grocery store to washing the dishes at the end and everything in between I usually do
Some kind of meal prep on a Sunday some some weeks it’s more than others but I usually do something because it really really helps me to stay on track with healthy eating throughout the week it really does I’ve showed you a lot of videos where I’ve got like all my meals
Planned and organized I know exactly what I’m making what I’m doing but it’s not always like that so I thought I’d show you what I do in this kind of situation and what I’m going to do today we will see I don’t know yet but we will

Don’t need luckily I refrained today I had good self-control today doesn’t always happen does not always happen sometimes I’m throwing in all the things that I don’t need but I didn’t do that today I’m going to have a snack I actually prepped these the other day few days ago got I’ve got three
Left and that one this is my banana oat muffins banana oat banana muffins what do I call them banana oat these are my banana oat muffins they’re from my ebook they’re also on my blog I will link them below for you um wait what do I call
Them in my ebook I forgot now these are actually my classic oat banana and raisin muffins make a little cup of tea have some muffins going to heat these guys up in the Microwave this was a good idea like my SME hits the spot just what I Needed I have just changed into something more comfortable cream is probably not the best color to meal bur in I feel like it’s just going to attract food toes on it so let’s do some meal bur so I’m going to start by washing everything I got whole of
Vegetables and leafy greens and potatoes and rice and all sorts of things to wash then I’m going to get the rice on the stove get that cooking I’m going to start chopping up the potatoes get them in the oven chop up the vegetables get the chicken and the
Vegetables in the oven going to put together the salad prep some eggs it’s I lot to do but it will actually go quite quickly this it’s all quite simple stuff so yeah let’s boil some water for the rice and I’ve got my favorite sauce so I’m excited my
Favorite sauce to use with the chicken Nando Perry Perry sauce Bush fry often make my own sauces but when I get my hands on a bottle of this I’m using this this is a South African Portuguese sauce it’s it’s like a hot sauce it’s kind of hot it’s a South African
Favorite but you know what I have actually seen different flaves of this at the grocery stores here in America I’ve seen it at various grocery stores they don’t usually have this flavor but they got the medium one they got the lemon and Herb they got the mild they
Got the extra hot they got some different ones I’m going to boil some water quickly and get the RAS going in and let’s wash everything let’s wash everything Also have some green beans in the fridge so I’m just going to throw these in as well all washed and ready to go I’ve also got my leafy greens got some fresh towels here actually just going to lay this down get these washed Greens on here so that they can start drying And then just going to leave them here to Dry oh I out of brass and not quite as much as I wanted but that’s okay still got a Bit Get this on the stove the bowl is rolling good things going okay let’s preheat the oven quickly going to do 425 okay let’s chop these potatoes run away theato okay let’s get these potatoes on a baking tray adding a little bit of oil okay for the spices I have decided chili
Flakes paprika salt and pepper of course and some oregano I got a little bit left And the potatoes should take roughly 40 minutes they might take longer let’s start the clock 40 minutes we’ll we’ll check them at 40 40 minutes they should be ready we’ll see we see let’s chop up the vegetables got an onion an onion so I’m going to chop
Up some vegetabl now and I’m going to save some of them to put into a salad and I’m going to roast some of them so kind of like doing two things at once here got some peppers another one zucchinis green beans let’s chop now I’m just going to take some of
These just a few and I’m going to keep them aside for a salad okay so I got my things for my salad kept aside just a few actually you know we don’t even need that many so these are for the salad and then I’m going to get all of this on a baking
Tray time to be chopped I’m saving just a few of the onions for my salad on the plate everything else is going on the tray let’s get these green beans on here too toss it all up that is a bit more crowded than I anticipated quite a crowded tray it’ll
Be fine and we just need to get the chicken getting a oh no wait let’s spray a bit of oil in there I’m going to use some of this oil that in there then let’s get the chicken in oh my gosh they’re massive okay well that’s that’s
A tght squeeze as well now for my sauce a get it on there oh yeah sorry I’m being so over traumatic just get the sauce on there too much sometimes it’s just sauce it’s not that big of a deal but it’s really good okay just get these all coated I’m
Actually going to need just a a little bit of more sauce just a little bit more more got to get it all over the top m and I actually just decided I’m going to add a little bit of chili a little bit of chili fls you on just wait till it
Comes out the oven then it will look good looks good already so yeah the oh I forgot to put flavorings on my vegetables I was about to say they’re ready to go in the oven but they’re not these need some oil some spices or herbs
What am I going to put on these the chicken spicy the potatoes are spicy so I’m thinking for this one some oregano some basil salt pepper oil maybe I should keep it simple like that okay some salt and pepper use the last of my oregano there’s not much left need to get some
More that it’s got a t with the Basel lots of Basel oh there we go vegetables and chicken ready let’s check the potatoes and get these in wow these look good crispy and soft crispy and soft it’s the perfect combination okay I’m going to get those out perfectly
Crispy look at that one I mean we got like 10 minutes left but as I always say potatoes are unpredictable you never really know and these ones cooked really fast today now we got more space for the vegetables I am going to spread those out between two trays now that we have
The extra space okay there we go I mean it would have cooked fine on one tray would have cooked fine but it’s a little bit more spread out it will cook a bit faster cuz the chicken’s going to cook cook quite fast so I need to add some more Basel I’m I’m feeling
That Basel at the moment just really enjoying Basel just going to get more Basel on okay now now now let’s get this all in the oven chicken and the vegetables do that one on the bottom going to do the chicken over here Perfect Fit we’re going to set this
For 22 minutes that 425° f is the perfect temperature to cooked chicken breasts these are really big ones so if I’ve got smaller ones I do like 18 to 20 minutes I’m going to do 22 minutes of these ones cuz they’re quite big 425 is about 218 Celsius so the rice is just
Finished the potatoes are finished chicken and vegetables in the oven oh I’m going to throw together my salad and I’m going to do some eggs and I’m trying to decide if I want to do the watermelon melon thing okay I’m going to boil some water for the
Eggs and put the salad together let’s go in on the stove add theeg eggs in cook them for 8 minutes cuz I want hard boiled eggs don’t why it’s taking so long wait ooh it’s Starting it’s starting to boil set the timer okay excuse this timer cuz I dropped it the other day and it broke but we’re going to set it for 8 minutes it still works for the minute start and the chicken and the vegetables should come out at the same time as the
Eggs are done now I just need to look at my meal prep container situation because I don’t actually know if I’ve got enough meal purer containers for everything I’m W to make I need like a lot of big containers today so let’s look at that situation then let’s throw together the
Salad and decide if we have space for the melon thing those are boiling away okay now I was looking at my containers I got these this is probably going to just be for for the potatoes then these are going to be for the chicken this is going to be for the
Eggs and what else do we have vegetables okay so I might do these for the vegetables and that leaves this for the rice one for the rice and one for the salad so I got a much smaller container for the salad than I anticipated and I don’t
Have any more big containers for the melon so I’m not going to cut up the melon cuz I’m not going to have anywhere to put it unless I want to use like tons of small containers and just that just seems like way too many dishes so I’m
Going to cut the melon up later this week when I got some more containers freed up let’s make the salad and then we’re done but we still prepped so many things got a week full of meals on the way and I’m going to just make the salad
In this just make it directly in there this looks a bit weird but it’s all my it’s all my clean leaves they all then I some drer okay so I got my leaves you want to wash them properly and dry them properly so that they last if you if they still
Wet they’ll go soggy and then I’m going to throw in my little vegetables this is really just the most basic salad to exist um but the peppers and the onions they’ll keep quite wild there’s nothing too like uh moist I hate that word but there’s nothing too damp damp there’s
Nothing too damp in here okay so it’s going to it’s going to keep R well in the fridge and this is just so I can just add something fresh to the side of a meal just grab it put it on the side I can have some like chicken and potatoes
And vegetables and then just throw like a little bit of salad on the side just something fresh looks quite good though nice colors okay the stuff is ready from the oven oh how is that wao that’s loud how is that V time com oh my gosh okay we got to get that stuff
Out got to get this all off get these eggs ready everything’s ready like getting a bit chaotic in here okay vegetables chicken perfect we’re done let’s put this all the way okay please excuse the chaos that surrounds this chicken but look at this look how juicy this is okay it’s
Steaming up camera I got my eye on this one and this one this one has got to be mine vegetables I love a roasted ball pepper one of my favorite things to roast so so good okay we got to S off these eggs quick crack them open and get
Them into a container and then we can put everything else Away actually decided I’m going to slice them in half though perfect baled eggs 8 minutes 8 Minute eggs so I’m just going to put them at the back here for a second let’s get everything in containers feel like I should start with the Potatoes wait is this going to fit in one container wa I think I can squeeze this into one well that actually works out because I wasn’t even sure if I had enough for the vegetables and everything squeeze them all in here it all fits in one well that was an unexpected Pleasant
Potatoes let’s see if the vegetables fit into one of these o you know what the smart foot second Trade very colorful looks delicious it’s so B this rice you know what those are both round and roughly the same size that should fit let’s see oh it’s a perfect fit and last but not least this perfect looking chicken get that sa out okay so that is everything all at
The back here we got our eggs we got our salad we’ve got our potato and our vegetables and we got our rice all of this will really keep us going this week me and Rob you know we will eat this we will throw in a few other

Have you thought of slicing the chicken into cutlets 1/2 or 1/3's when they are so thick. I do that often. It's still plenty.
