Old Bay shrimp and sausage boil.

This would be my third time making this and it’s always good. I’ve never done it with the actual sub box, just what I can source locally.

My issue with the meal, and it’s most likely a me and my ingredients issue, is the salt level. Way off the charts and I don’t even add salt, because I know it’s overpowering.

Since I can’t find seafood stock, I use veggie stock. Everything else is the same.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the exact measurements the Old Bay packets are? This could be my issue. I set aside my 2 tsp for the butter, but then assume the packets are tablespoons. I used half that today and still had the salt issue.

Corn was frozen from fresh out of my garden this past summer 🙂
