

Hello fellow tinned fish lovers! Long time tinned fish eater here as I am Korean and my household grew up eating lots of canned tuna, mackerel and sardines. I use canned fish in lots of my food but one of my favorite and easy go to meals is making rice bowls with fish and leftovers. Mackerel is my current favorite tinned fish and I recently bought a case of the Wild Planet Smoked Mackerel. I personally think it’s great for the price point.
Today’s rice bowl: mackerel, leftover spicy stir fried veggies, cucumber and avocado Garnishes: green onion and seaweed Seasonings/sauces: aloha shoyu, kewpie mayo, momofuku chili crisp and furikake
I think this mackerel is also great inside of kimchi stirfry or stew!

I just added a few of these to my Amazon Fresh basket this morning. I appreciate the pricing and am eager to try it.
I’m also hooked on tinned mackerel and, I agree, it’s awesome in kimchi jiggaes.
Their sardines are excellent as well!
Not a big fan of wild planet. Sorry. The consistency and overall quality is severely lacking for that price point imo.
