Modified Bourbon Chicken Recipe I saw on here the other day

  1. **Recipe:**

    1kg chicken thigh (boneless skinless or skin on bone in, either works)

    1 Cup Soy Sauce

    1/3rd cup brown sugar

    250ml chicken stock

    1/3 cup (use brandy instead of bournon + sugar)

    2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

    ½ tsp Ground Ginger

    1 tbsp Honey

    ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes

    4 Garlic Cloves, minced

    3 tbsp Cornstarch

    white onion

    green onions

    *If skin-on Chicken:*

    *Add the chicken thighs to a large skillet and brown them on medium high heat on both sides for 3-5 minutes.*

    *Add the chicken to the slow cooker skin side up*

    cook high for 4 hours or low for 6-8

    Recommendation: serve with white rice, bok choy, sliced mushrooms, a drizzle of chilli oil
