This stuff definitely slaps. Best Cajun seasoning I have tried and I have tried many. Picked it up down in Dirty Mytle while visiting.
I love it on Shrimp, Fish and even as a seasoning on wings!

Used this for a shrimp boil last week, was good as fuck. Also a fan of their hot sauce.

This or ole bay, whichever is on hand. 👍

Great on corn on the cob and popcorn, too.

Just watch out with adding extra salt, this stuff has plenty.

I bought some of this down in New Orleans and use it all the time. TSA gave me a little trouble for it at the airport, along with some other tids and bits I had in my carry-on, but by damn I got it all home lol

The white and red one with white pepper is even better. Not quite as salty and more kick!

I’m more of a fan of the Louisiana Fish Fry products Fish Fry Cajun Seasoning.
With that said, the Slap Ya Mama hot sauce is a very good table hot sauce

It’s crazy I’ve never tried slap ya mama. Is it like Tony’s?

Southern Louisiana is littered with meat markets that have different variations of Cajun spice blends. I like lower salt versions. They’re all a little bit different. I like to toss it in my mortar and pestle and get it nice and fine and toss it on popcorn. You can also get hot cracklins at those shops. Those swamp folk know how fry some pork belly.

They have an extra hot version too.

I used to use slap ya momma until I found Cajun Two Step Spicy. I’m a spicy connoisseur from southwest Louisiana. You gotta try this stuff.
Best is homemade without a ton of salt. Ratios vary but the basic ingredients are paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper. Could add black pepper. Could add thyme and oregano. Could add salt to the mix or add it separately.

I used some tonight on Cajun Chicken Pasta!
I also use it on nachos – tortilla chips and shred cheese in the oven, as well as sprinkled in cheese quesadillas

Yup, this one lives on top of my stove next to salt pepper and garlic powder

I just looked it up and I see that it doesn’t have any of *that most disgustingly vile* of ingredients in it: Celery Seed/Celery Salt.
