The last sunday, I made my first Kimchee, but there’s all juice (water+gochugaru) at the bottom of the jar, I wonder if I made a mistake or it’s normal. Because the juice is supposed to fill the whole jar, right?

Please keep it mashed down into the jar to keep it all submerged. Otherwise it looks fine.
