Never had issues with hello fresh since starting, gladly. However, today I noticed these little white specs in our honey packet today. Luckily we have our own honey we like to use in recipes that call for it, so we didn’t actually use this. What is this?? Have any of you seen this?

Sugar crystals, because, you know, it’s honey?

Sugar crystallisation, it happens when it’s cold. Not an issue. Very normal.

Honey crystallizes when it’s cold or it’s been a while. Warm it up and they’ll go away.

this is how honey “never expires.” it’s just sugar crystals that happen in the cold. to make it go back to normal, take a glass cup of very warm water and drop the honey packet in for a few minutes. should be all set.
