Hey y’all we’re ready to fry up these catfish filets let’s go ahead and dive In okay so what you’ll need is one freezer bag all right we have two catf nice size catfish fillets now this recipe should be enough for two to four catfish fetes depending on the size these are just two nice size ones all right now we’re going to take half a cup of yellow

Cornmeal we’re going to put 3 tablespoons of flour into the cornmeal and we’re going to shake that up next we’re going to take a half teaspoon of paprika one teaspoon of garlic powder one teaspoon of onion powder and a/ teaspoon of parsley flakes and 2 tbspoon of O

Seasoning and we’re going to give this a good mix around now that we have our fish fry mixture we’re going to take our filets place them in the bag shake it [Applause] up until they’re evenly [Applause] coated okay and we’re going to take our fish out place it on the plate so it’ll

Be ready to fry up okay next we’re going to preheat our Skillet with vegetable oil now you can use canola oil peanut oil as well and we’re going to uh heat up the grease for Med to medium Heat and the recommended internal temperature is 145Β° minimum now to check to see if the

Grease is ready you can always take a pin of your fren Fred mixture and if it Bubbles and sizzles up the grease is ready you see how that sizzles the grease is ready okay take we’re going to take our catfish fillets and place them in here just like that

You want to be careful not to overcrowd your pan I was going to use a deep fryer but I decided to do it on the stove today y’all we’re going to fry these catfish fetes on each side for 3 to 4 minutes per side so the cook time will be

Anywhere from 7 to 9 Minutes depending on the size of fetes okay so it’s been 4 minutes so we’re going to flip the catfish on his other side on to the other side so what I usually do is I take a spatula cuz I don’t like to break my fish now take a

Fork hold it there and flip just like that just like so and we’re going to cook that for additional 3 to 4 minutes okay so I fried them on 4 minutes per side I’m going to take them out place them on the cooling rack so that way they don’t get

Soggy so we cook these for a total of 8 minutes and like I said total cook time to be anywhere from 7 to 9 Minutes depending on the size of fetes for about three to four to 5 minutes per side depending on the size of your fillet

Okay and there’s the fish we’ll let it sit for about a minute or two got our hot sauce cuz I like my fish and my hot sauce I don’t know about y’all but I got to have hot sauce with my fish if this video was it all helpful to you go ahead
