I’m currently obsessed with avocado toast. So we have avocado toast with homemade sesame chilli oil/chilli crunch* and smoked salmon with light cream cheese. I’m using ezikiel bread for the toast. Then my usual iced coffee with almond milk.
I love this breakfast. I like to give myself 400 calories for breakfast then 200 lunch and 600 dinner. Or I skip lunch and have 800 dinner. (Or extra 200 for a snack!?!?) I like this because I get to have filling healthy meals while still staying within 1200.
* Mel’s chilli crunch (I’m Mel) is made with avocado oil, Korean red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, salt, garlic, and aromatics like cinnamon, star anise, dried shiitake mushroom, white pepper. You can definitely buy chili oil but it’s often made with veg oil/soybean oil and has msg, sugar, and often ‘natural flavour’ or other chemicals. So still delicious but I’m trying to eat cleaner so I made it myself.

This looks so tasty! I have all of these ingredients (minus the Ezekiel bread which I love and a different chili crunch) & I just might have to copy this later.
