This is the tilapia I received last Monday. Life got busy and I couldn’t make it is this still good to eat? It’s not vacuum sealed

They usually label the fish as to be eaten first I believe, so I wouldn’t.

I throw the meat directly in the freezer as soon as I get it, just because I know I’m not going to make all the meals right away. The only think I have to be concerned with is spoilage of the veggies, but I usually get to them long before that happens.

The tilapia I received last Thursday is still good-to-go, ready to thaw and be eaten in all its deliciousness. The deadline on the cabbage is definitely tomorrow.

  3. This post is eye opening. We forgot about our tilapia one week, ate it on the next delivery day. So a week. It didn’t smell or anything, but it’s vaccuum sealed here

Vaccuum sealed meats last way longer so it could be fine. Just open it and smell it. Honestly it looks fine but smell will tell u. I don’t know why ppl even ask without even openening the package lol. You will KNOW if it’s gone bad.

Can you open and let some smell over the internet? Its easy to tell by the smell. If you overcook it, add too much spices and salt, you wouldnt tell if its bad or not, worst case scenario quick release or hospital. 50/50

Edit: Looks like its been vacum closed, it should be good if kept cold, check smell and texture
