    I see the start of a helluva delicious, tender, fall apart roast. I can only imagine how good it is going to be. Tonight I am having smoked haddock poached in milk, then i will thicken the bree to drizzle over red skin tatties, tenderstem brocolli and sugar snap peas.
    Wish you every success but somehow I think you’ve got this ;0)

    I buy the smoked haddock undyed (as kids in Scotland we called it yellow fish) and slowly warm it in a saute pan of milk with a good dod of white pepper, remove and keep warm then thicken up some of the bree with cornflour. Simple, delicious and was usually always served with tatties and peas.
    All the finest ingredients you listed in your post would have made your meal sublime, It looks like you put your heart into it😍
