Popped in here for a quick meal by myself to kill some time before heading to a friends place down the street. I used to come here often when I worked in the area but it’s been at least 5-6 years since my last visit and I appreciated how the same it is. This bison burger and presentation is better than I remember, lean but still very juicy and tasty with surprisingly good fries and coleslaw on the side. Paired nicely with a crisp Vienna lager. I’m going to come back and get something else next time I’m in the area so if anyone has recommendations for favorite dishes let me hear it. I remember the Jamabalya being pretty good when I had it years ago.

C’est what is such an awesome name for a restaurant. Can’t believe I haven’t heard of this place.

Love that bar. I do miss it as it was originally, but still a great spot with a nice beer selection and good food. Wish I lived a bit closer to go there more often.

The bison would have preferred you ordered fish. Enjoy!

My wife and I had our first date at C’est What.

C’est What is still one of the best craft beer bars in the city. The food is outstanding as well, and the staff are super friendly. It’s dangerous working near there!

Use to go for the craft brew fest in the mid to late 2000 while in uni with my friends. We would gather a bunch of samples and try them all and make tasting notes. We’d get carded every time we went. We’d talk about life and our futures. We were young and thought we could do anything.
The plans we made haha. What memories!
Now everyone has a family and we are all spread across the province. We came there thinking we’d always have the ability to create more of these moments. Now I wish we really could.
