Hey everyone welcome back to 5 minute eats and today we’ve got a little Frozen entree for you this is Scott and John’s shrimp scampy with Linguini tender shrimp tossed in a rich scampy sauce with Linguini and Sweet Tomatoes simple wholesome ingredients this is an 8 oz
Bowl of it for $479 at Target I’ve also seen this brand at Meyer and um I think a few other places so nice simple packaging I like it now where is this brand from they are out of Maine is that what this yes Maine Maine okay mhm so
That’s a good sign right cuz you always think of uh the New England area yeah yeah so that’s always a good sign and uh shrim scampy in a microwave like is that how you made it in a microwave yes and you know what that’s their only I actually think that’s pretty cool yeah
It’s their only recommendation cuz you could have this in your freezer when you’re hungry pop it in the microwave easy meal and it’s something different yes exactly now this appears to have I believe six shrimps in it that I counted which which that’s a good amount yeah
That’s a good amount it seems to be a good amount of like pasta and stuff like that’s a good serving and guys if you’re new to our Channel basically we review every day gr sham so before you spend your harder money let us tell you if

Down the shts are well done well done those things are those things were killed and they killed a few more times they were quite firm like there was one of them where I I tried to poke it with my fork and it wouldn’t go in and I gave up it was like chewing
Rubber it was and I finally did get one and it was very very firm very dry on the inside and it like stuck between my teeth because it was so rubbery and stuff and after I swallowed I immediately regretted it and wished I could have undone that cuz the thing is
We’re following the microwav instru instructions so honestly I think most times shrimp done in the microwave does not turn out great and but it’s like we know that as consumers we know that so I guess we should have known that going into it but I also feel like as food preparers they
Should have like maybe made an effort to better formulate that or something but here’s the thing I think I’m not driving mainly with the flavor of the sauce I don’t hate it I kind of like it in some ways but then otherwise I don’t cuz it’s like I like that it’s like a
Lemony garlicky taste but then there’s like this Tang in the background that is like almost like a soured kind of Tang I agree it’s Tangy like saltiness is yeah salty also it’s a little too intense yeah everything is this the the shrimps are wrong and then the ratios of the
Seasonings and stuff is off this was a fail on all accounts quite honestly just thumb it up thumbs down thumbs down and if you guys buy from Amazon use your Amazon like the reason is when you do that we get 10 cents 50 cents possibly even a dollar which means

It sounds like you could have bounced them likes balls. lol That's terrible that you got sick over it. Are you certain it was the scampi? They say one doesn't always get sick from something right away, sometimes it can take a week or so. I don't know. 🧚

The box makes it look like the whole surface of the bowl would be covered with shrimp…they can't pan out because you'll see how much empty space there is. I usually buy the Michael Angelos brand.
