This is the meal I chose to celebrate the bonus day of the year today. I’ve been highly anticipating it and it didn’t disappoint. This might actually be the Chicken Sandwich of the Century™. Perfect sandwich for a rare day!!!!

Awesome plating! I had these last week and thought they were really tasty. I wasn’t crazy about the sweetness from the candied bacon, but that’s just personal taste.
I made one of the sandwiches with the Gouda cheese and made the second with a slice of American cheese. The Gouda was definitely the way to go.
